OK, lets’s focus on what he said about “Get Rich”. I don’t think it’s so much that people want him to sell as much as “Get Rich”, but people want a quality album like “Get Rich”. 50′s problem is he has not attained the quality of that record consistently. If you look back at interviews of 50 the last 6 years, he has fallen into the traps he says all the other M.C.’s fall into. Inconsistency, poor quality, over saturation (beef wise) and non focus. In these times, no one SHOULD expect 12 million albums again, that’s like a snapshot in time. However, people DO expect a quality 50 album. Eminem dropped a quality Hip Hop album and really didn’t have to because it would have sold anyway, but he did. 50′s always talking about Em as a mentor, follow his work ethic! Leave beef at the door, grab your pad and write! Flow, tell stories, make people like you again as an MC, not as Curtis Jackson the Actor/Entrepreneur/Beef Starter. Checks will dry as your quality of music does the same. See examples (Righteeous Kill Flopped, and The Sam Jackson movie went to DVD). Y’all need to hire me!!!!!
