“I believe the public builds entertainers up to destroy them for the sake of entertainment.”
On the set of his movie Twelve, the actor Curtis Jackson talks about holding back his tears. But, he does cry the blues about the state of the game and the gift and the curse of havin’ to match his successful debut.

I'm down for good music for a good cause but this ain't the case. The homie Sha from MTV hit me with a question yesterday I dreaded goin' on the record about: How do I feel about hip-hop artists being included in the "We Are The World" remake? Geez, I guess we've come long way since 1985. I don't think you could do it any other way than include our culture which is the pulse of pop culture. But instead of feeling any type of validation, I feel disgust. Seriously, a complete remake of the original song? Celine Dion gettin' her Cyndi Lauper on? Lil Wayne as Bob Dylan? Fuck outta here. Didn't I see Will.I.Am in the flicks? They could gave that nigga an hour plus a pen and a pad and I'm sure he'd come up with something cheesy for no small fee but for free. I'm truly scared to hear what the final product is gonna sound like. Are we really gonna hear the soothing vocals of Nipsey Hussle in the final mix? Highly doubt it. Damn, it's the thought that counts but this just doesn't feel right. Shame on a couple of legendary nuhs named Lionel Richie and Quincy Jones. MJ is turning over in his oxygen tank.
You know you done fucked up, don't you? You know it, don't you? You know you done fucked up.
Curtis sucked, but i heard that Interscope said that BISD has too less commercial songs on it, so i´m hyped, some real street shit again from him, i hope.
I saw him cry in g.r.o.d.t…dude shoulda won a oscar for that crying scene alone lol
BISD COMIN SOON
the way he is speaking reminds me of mike tyson in the documentary damn that house
OK, lets’s focus on what he said about “Get Rich”. I don’t think it’s so much that people want him to sell as much as “Get Rich”, but people want a quality album like “Get Rich”. 50’s problem is he has not attained the quality of that record consistently. If you look back at interviews of 50 the last 6 years, he has fallen into the traps he says all the other M.C.’s fall into. Inconsistency, poor quality, over saturation (beef wise) and non focus. In these times, no one SHOULD expect 12 million albums again, that’s like a snapshot in time. However, people DO expect a quality 50 album. Eminem dropped a quality Hip Hop album and really didn’t have to because it would have sold anyway, but he did. 50’s always talking about Em as a mentor, follow his work ethic! Leave beef at the door, grab your pad and write! Flow, tell stories, make people like you again as an MC, not as Curtis Jackson the Actor/Entrepreneur/Beef Starter. Checks will dry as your quality of music does the same. See examples (Righteeous Kill Flopped, and The Sam Jackson movie went to DVD). Y’all need to hire me!!!!!
