Em’s strength is his timing, humor, irony, and (especially) rhyming technique. He rattles off those couplets like water. Very dope. But there are guys like Pun, Elzhi, Nas, Royce, and Kool G Rap that have multi’s that are comparable to Em’s. Folks act like he owns that lane.

As far as other rappers talking about sex, bling, and material possessions, most black rappers who dont talk that dumb shit get stuck in the underground cause labels won’t sign them and media ignores them. Eminem gets passes in ways black rappers don’t. (I only mention this because I think its wack that things are set up this way and it makes Em look like he has such a higher level of thought than the other guys, but this is a skewed perspective).

And stop citing sales, people already have noted that his race is a BIG factor in his success. As a matter of consideration, thats probably why he got the most votes in the last poll (fanbase).

The entertainment industry caters to Eminem in ways that NO OTHER rapper has been courted. Ultimately, that’s some racial shit, hands down. I’m just keeping it real.
