Section 202 of the Act eliminated limits the FCC had previously placed on the number of radio stations on ownership of radio stations in a local market. Between ’96 and ’03, the number local radio owners declined by 35%. By ’03, Clear Channel Communications owned 1,200 radio stations.

Obama needs to fix the FCC.
