Awhile back I attended his mixtape release party at the Redbull space in New York and got to meet Charles. I went up to shake his hand and he just shook his head in disbelief, gave me a big hug and told me how he couldn’t believe how many people came out to support him. That’s really rare to see so I was rooting for the guy. Then the whole beef with Soulja Boy happened, his girl sucker punched him on camera and rumors swirled about him getting dropped from Interscope.
