Str8 up, J. Cole is the shit. In my opinion, he’s the hottest new cat out because he CAN make beats and he CAN rap and he IS humble and he talks about REAL shit. My order of the new cats would be:

J. Cole
Wale
Drake
Kid Cudi
Whiz Khalifa
Big Sean
B.o.B
Pill

I’ve seen Drake, Wale, and Big Sean in concert and they all put on good shows. But back to the subject, seriously, besides Kanye, there really isn’t a better rapper/producer out there next to J. Cole. Eminem doesn’t count because he’s a rapper first, then a producer. He started makin beats after he conquered rap to add to his arsenal. Cole is a promising artist he needs to get more shine. We’ll see if gets on that “Top 10 Freshmen of Hip Hop 2010″ cover next month. Both his mixtapes were fire.

@bdot na i’m def into cole’s music and i think he’s dope but still in all i think you gotta know your boundaries especially this early on bcuz something like this can be taken as arrogance and will be by some. Your goal at this point is to earn as many fan’s as you can based soley upon your music. And one last thing kanye verse on run this town > jcoles on star is born but hey thats just my opinion.

one thing i hate about rappers is when they toot they’re own horn…dude let the people decide that your better than kanye lyrically because your beats arent…the mickey factz kid did this sort of thing a last year and has since disappeared. one thing i liked about cole is that he is humble lets try to stay like that. Put out an album and we’ll start the kanye comparisons then
