THIS dizzy broad is gonna either make history or fizzle and pop.
When she can make an actual hit that people listen to and vibe to, I will support her. Lil Kim and Foxy had major writers behind them. Their image was STILL secondary to talent in the lyrics.
Fast forward to today and people just want to give you a poster and then want the crown? No. We need a song. some lyrics. some truth. just rap first. we see you’re gorgeous but so what.
The best thign going for her are: Cash money, T & A, No other female rapper with any buzz.
If she can leverage that into something, I will respect this harajuku copy-cat style she has going on. Not sure what she means by *costumes* but with Gaga, Rihanna, Gwen winning with the wild costumes, I guess HipHop needs it’s own resident haute-couture clown
I’ll say she’s a better representative for pink than Charles Hamilton though, so in that regard she’s winning.
Side Note: Honey Mag, interviewing Nicki Minaj is interesting. where are the hip hop magazines supporting female artist though? Fox and Kim couldn’t even get an individual cover for a good minute and all the shade on female rappers probaly lead to beef. We need to step up.. because OF COURSE HoneyMag is goign to ask about stupid ish like “what do you do on your day off” “what clothes are you into” we need Hip Hop magazines ( or sites ) to really get in and give some deep interviews for a change.. let’s talk abotu lyrics, artists, hip hop, music, producers.. who cares what her image is, if she can’t rhyme then what’s the point?
Also wondering what’s upw ith her comments on Drake.. last I checked he has some semblance on talent.. she has an ego and is nothing but a grasshoper. sad.
