Conversing with XXL, Ghostdini points the finger at RZA for Bulletproof Wallets’ shortcomings. He reveals The Abbot was so high, that he forgot the Barry White sample used on “The Watch.” Meanwhile, “The Sun” was absent due to sample clearances and the original beat for “Flowers” was changed for the same reason.

These are 3 gems that would have made a world of difference on Bulletproof Wallets
The Watch is SICK! That was a major fuckup on RZA’s part. As a producer, he should’ve looked after this.
I call bullshit. Those original versions were all on the Bulletproof Wallets advance that leaked out prior to the albums release. The songs were there — the label wouldn’t pay to clear them. Has very little to do w/ RZA.
I promise the main reason why I paid for Bulletproof wallets was because of the Watch(Heard it on a DJ Clue Stadium Series mixtape) and Flowers (The original beat was on an old Kayslay mixtape and woulda been a club banger). I had to wait an extra 5 years before I found these 2 tracks without the DJ yelling over them.
These tracks woulda made that album a classic. Solid album none the less.
