50 Cent Responds To Fabolous’ Tweets

50read

Earlier today, Fabolous questioned the motives of  50 Cent’s Thisis50 Fest concert via Twitter. Yesterday, I speculated that 50 was applying Law #2 from the 48 Laws Of Power.  I was called a cynic. 24 hours later, Fif responded to Fab’s inquiry with the same excerpt. Told you, I wasn’t crazy!

  2. YO says:

no one is disagreeing with fab though, sorry fif truth hurts.

  3. john macabee says:

people seem to forget 50 didn’t start any of the ny beefs cam just went off the handle and jada and joe did the ny record when ja dissed fifty at the start of his verse remember :

Apprentice, you’re fired, you’re no longer desired/So take off them silly chains, put back on your wire/I’m on fire

  4. dum dumb says:

So he took a NY artist out on an international tour, that same NY artist said that a few years ago he wouldn’t have done that? If I recall correctly it was those same NY rappers and A & R people who black balled 50 back in the day. Fab talking who isolated NY rappers, NY rappers isolated NY rappers. No one man can do it and you giving him to much power or are you powerless?

  5. sideshowRaheem says:

Fab was right 50 has spent the majority of his carrier going at other artist and most of those guys he beefed with were from NYC. Then days after he takes shots at Fat Joe for aposuloty no reason at all he claims he wants some New York unity….what part of the game is that?

—->”We don’t believe you, you need more people!”

  6. B.Dot says:

    I told you people so!

  7. dum dumb says:

Here’s and old FAB quote since to corroborate what 50 was saying about letting others shine with him. Fab talking out the side of his neck.

Fab just got back home from Europe, where he was on tour with 50 Cent.

“I was over there for promos, and the opportunity came to do the shows with 50, which was good because that was a promo thing for me even though they was paid shows,” he said. “50 is a big international artist. That let me tap into 50’s market. A lot of dudes — even the dudes that are big over here — you wonder how people over there don’t know who they are. Some of the biggest names in the States are small fries over there. Even myself. I’ve had some songs they know, but even songs that are my general hits over here, they might not be too familiar with them. I guess they know certain artists or bigger artists … like your 50s, Justin Timberlake, Eminem. But certain people they don’t know. You can have a big record over here, they don’t know. They don’t know who Hurricane Chris is; they think that’s really a hurricane.”

  9. pyro says:

lol this makes fab look so small.

  10. Toya says:

Law #2 kind of sounds like Theodore Roosevelt’s “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer”. But I wouldn’t trust my enemies enough to work with them (if I knew they were my enemy) because they will find ways to sabotage the whole effort. Maybe guys aren’t like that but with my experiences with women, they have no problem going down in flames if it means you’re going down with them.
The Thisis50 fest didn’t look like an event with a bunch of 50’s enemies. Looked like they all joined him because they wanted participate in the event. In the rap game, I can’t imagine anyone would work with an artist they didn’t really care for. If that’s the case then everyone can count on there being a song on Eminem’s next album featuring Ja Rule.

  11. incilin says:

You definitely called it and I knew you were right then. Major props.

  12. Rafelito says:

    http://whatuknowaboudat.blogspot.com/

Fab is sorta right though… Fif sorta was someone who hated on a lot of rappers, and never cared about connecting with other rappers. hence, why all his features involved only interscope artists.

  13. dumb dumb says:

BDot, I will give you the biggest jump the shark of Rule 2 ever. You said that the event was about Rule #2 and you try to parlay your assessment onto what 50 was doing. However, 50 is quite obvious in his use of the rule here which is about “friendship” one he thought he had with fab. It has nothing to do with the event.

You and many other bloggers have a problem with context and reality. You didn’t tell anyone anything. You applied a rule to an event and you are now trying to say what 50 response to Fab. was what he was doing at the event.

  14. B.Dot says:

You and many other bloggers have a problem with context and reality. You didn’t tell anyone anything. You applied a rule to an event and you are now trying to say what 50 response to Fab. was what he was doing at the event.

    ^
    Wrong. It’s all applicable.

    1. I’m not a “blogger”. That’s just disrespect to my resume.

    2. Yesterday, I made reference to it because I know 50 abides by the 48 Laws of Power. I doubt it’s a coincidence that he reiterated what i said. 50 had beef with Jada and D-Block. So obviously he applied that law. Fab was never an enemy.

  15. dumb dumb says:

Again Bdot, you’re jumping the shark. The law in this respect is applied to friendship. You tried to take your context of the event of enemies and say I was right, when 50 applied it to Fab a friend. You are trying to bridge that gap in your logic but it doesn’t apply.

Yes its applicable when applied properly, not by making leaps from one event to the next. You are on blog site, blogging. You were upset when you weren’t mentioned in the bet blog site awards. Journalist by day blogger by night.

  16. B.Dot says:

Yes its applicable when applied properly, not by making leaps from one event to the next. You are on blog site, blogging. You were upset when you weren’t mentioned in the bet blog site awards. Journalist by day blogger by night.

    ^
No, i wasnt. I don’t care about awards. If anything, i was being facetious. It’s nice to get recoginzed for your work, but i care about a relic that makes me feel “accomplished”. Like i said, i hope Eskay wins.

I see what your saying, in that respect. However, it’s just as applicable to what I was referring too. To honest, 50’s post is vague. I still believe that was 50’s motivation for the concert. We can agree to disagree.

  17. dumb dumb says:

Your assessment of the event and 50 motives are transparent, and I’m sure to those who were on the bill are aware with how he moves. Its well known, that his next thought will be given to him by Robert Greene, this is no secret. The Lox, Dip, ect.. know how he moves.

  18. ACEEZY1026 says:

i have one question to all you 50 boot lickers…what has he came out with RECENTLY that’s been hot?

  19. obie says:

@aceezy1026, sorry but wats d relation to wat u sed to d post. is dis post vaguely related to music. i think im justified if i say U R A COMPLETE FOOL.
secondly, let me answer ur question, fif has brought out one of d best mixtapes dis year and his album is comin out so all dis talk about RECENTLY,y not wait till after his album is out u moron.
BTW U R A COMPLETE ILLITERATE, AND I WILL QUOTE U “what has he CAME out with recently that’s been hot?”
it is “come out with” u bloody retarded fifty cent hater.
hey B.DOT, u just lost a blogger cos i just ethered him. lool

  20. Lovely says:

  21. Tysonz says:

I used to think Fab was this cool calm quiet fly dressing Gangsta nigga that didnt talk much now thru his tweets I find out he’s no different than my lame wannabe cousin….

  22. B.Dot says:

Hey Bdot save your breath. You can’t get through some nuccas heads.

    ^
It’s cool. in restrospect, i think this law is more fitting for the Thisis50 Concert:

    Law #12:

One sincere and honest move will cover over dozens of dishonest ones. Open-hearted gestures of honesty and generosity bring down the guard of even the most suspicious people. Once your selective honesty opens a hole in their armor, you can deceive and manipulate them at will. A timely gift – a Trojan horse – will serve the same purpose.

  23. truth says:

I swear niggas be on some backsliding, disloyal shit now days! Ol bandwagon ridin’ muthafuckas. I dont give a fuck about neither one of them dudes to be honest. 34. Cick Nannon says:

Fab is on Twitter coppin pleas and apologizing right now. This guy needs better PR people. I understand Twitter is showing us his personality but the bottom line is Fab is a robot…simply programmed to make the same album 5 times in a row, perform the same boring set 200 days out of the year, and dress fresh.

Whenever he steps out of that realm, he makes a fool of himself.

  35. The Editor says:

    READING IS FUNDAMENTAL

FAB IS CORRECT IN HIS ASSESSMENT

50 IS DEAD ON WITH HIS RESPONSE

    COMMENTERS NEED TEACHING (C) SHHT

  36. GI JOE says:

The more the masses buy into this shit, and this attracts more outlets. Trust me, these niggas are not going to beef for free. There will be a sit-down behind closed doors on how to make money off this shit. And the funds will be coming from “YOUR” pockets. Funny how people get emerged in someone else fame, and talk about them like they give a damn about you. Think about this. The only reason rappers floss is because “YOU’RE” putting the dollars in their pockets, and the companies. And why idolize a nigga that breath and can die just like you? Some of ya’ll need to get ya minds right. If you wanted to live like that, you could. GET OFF YA ASS AND WORK HARD…LAY OFF THE TV!! YOU SITTIN’ STILL GLUED TO THE MEDIA AND YOU COULD BE MAKING MOVES TO BETTER YOURSELF…C’MON SON!!!! WAKE UP!!!!
