Beaterator is a music mixer game released in September 2009 by Rockstar Games for the PlayStation Portable and the PlayStation Network, and later in 2009 for the iPhone OS. Beaterator is being developed by Rockstar Leeds, which developed Grand Theft Auto games on portable consoles. The game is co-produced by noted music producer Timbaland[2].
The game is based on a Adobe Flash music mixing tool released on the Internet in 2005 by Rockstar and will contain original all-new loops and sounds produced by Timbaland for Beaterator. The game will also allow the user to produce their own loops.
A teaser trailer has been released confirming the following game modes: Live play, Studio Session and Song Crafter[3]. On the 27th of August the official website for Beaterator received an overhaul, revealing that the game will have Social Club integration for sharing your music with the community. Also revealed was the first video in a series of videos focusing on Timbaland and others making beats with the game.[4]
And users can load their songs on the Internet.
In PlayStation Home beginning on October 16, 2009, Rockstar Games will be having “Beaterator Parties” at the Listen@Home station in North America’s Central Plaza. Rockstar Games will be playing users uploaded Beaterator tracks at Listen@Home during the Beaterator Sessions.[5]

  13. TopBananas says:

Jason Ex I concur. That beat isn’t special at all. From the first time I heard it I was not impressed. Tim hasn’t been innovative in a long time. Don’t know why Jay be picking them mediocre a$$ beats.

it sound like it did now get back to that asr -10 timothy those bp3 track were dissapointing

  15. J says:

you guys are haters……dont hate on Tim for the BP3 tracks…..Timbo didnt force Jay to select those tracks….Jay Z apparently liked them….Reconsider criticizing Jay-Z for choosing those tracks instead of hating on Timbo…
