riri trying to put it behind her is not the same thing as being forgiven. she still hasn’t taken him back, hence him making songs and tweets about how much she should come back. the fact that this nigga’s “comeback,” is a video whose main concept is based off of evocation of violence (chris is ninja! chris is a militant solider [peep the Sieg Heil at 1:58]) as a clear indication that even in the wake of him brualizing someone weaker than him he wants to make himself seem edgy and threatening is so fucking offensive and bullheaded and shows that this repeat offender gives no fuck about the ramifications of what he does as long as people will eat it up.

For me, this is like when Hollywood came out in support of Roman Polanski acting like he was the victim, talking about how his victim “forgave” him. Roman’s crime was definitely greater, but at least you could seperate his art from it. Chris is wrapping it all together with a smile and a six pack and niggas just do, not, care.
