Who are you and what have you done with Guru? Seriously, we go from the emotional rollercoaster ride of thinkin' we're gonna lose one of the game's greatest MCs to some sick pathetic soap opera involving a man of no blood or kin relation denying family members the right to see their loved one. Now yes Keith Elam may not wanna reconcile with folks he hasn't been on good terms with for the past seven years but that's his decision not yours. From the outside lookin' in, you seem really shady. And if Guru's nephew claim is true that you signed documents as Keith Elam's brother and your wife as his sister than that's just plain alarming. An abuse of power. Releasing statements to websites and official Twitter accounts in Guru's name when he doesn't appear to be able to speak on his own behalf is also misleading and completely wrong. Be clear: At this point the only thing relevant and important is the status of Guru's health. Nobody gives a fuck about you or 7 Grand. Guru's legacy is Gang Starr. DJ Premier and Guru made classics. You and Guru make crap. And you should get slapped for meddling in family business.
I'm not dissin' but you shoulda stayed missing. Everybody in the club get tipsy. Nobody in the club remember your name. Damn shame.
straight fire…listenin to so far gone just realizing how much of a masterpiece that really is…dam…thank me later needs to come out now!!!!
“Yo flow never wet like grandma pussy/but im always good like grandma cookies”
I mean yall niggas are actually impressed by bars like this??? LMAO im sorry but wayne is completely WACK now. I done heard it all rappin wise, so the simple azz punchline thing aint amazing me. And I used to fuck with wayne around the Carter2/D2 days but around 07 is when he started doing the whole stupid/funny rhyme thing. And whats even funnier is that he can say ANYTHING and his fans will still eat it up! Yeah he drops alot of material and i respect the grind but none of that means a thing when you put quanity over quality. Oh and im a young cat from the South that grew up listening to Cash Money so this has nothing to do with anything coastal.
*waits for somebody to call me a hater*
*goes to listen to Mac aka the real best rapper to ever emerge out of the N.O.*
Shoutout to Jay Elect too
^ hater lol
i like these mixtapes wayne brings out, allot of the shit dont make no sense but is entertaining. just punchlines and freestyles, carter 3 was nice because most of the songs were creative and it was good to hear wayne rap on a topic, example: ms officer, dr carter etc.
If you liked this, you’ll probably like ONLY! http://www.myspace.com/onlythakid
Mixtape of the year.
Yeah, Mixtape Weezy is good, and Imma give it a listen, but Lupe’s mixtape is gonna be the best ever! The best ever! *Kanye shrug*

Wayne lesson 101:
Your totally missing the point of that punchline (and you probably miss the point of alot of Waynes bars). It’s not about the complexity of that line, it’s about the raw humor of it. Wayne has many layers to his spit, some are complex, some are so simple that you get slapped by the simplicity, some are straight comedy like the aforementioned.
Waynes style is not to be boxed in say like a Nas… with Nas you know what your getting. With Wayne, the key to enjoying his music is to throw your expectations in the garbage and just open up to each song, verse, or even each bar.
Waynes style is Life: *In Gumps voice* “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get”

I vouch for what Eljoy posted…
raw humor… its sooooooo rawwwww
I’m definitely going to listen to this but I’m hoping that it doesnt disappoint.
But If so tho people, I offer you Remi Aka Mr Zone 6. Remember the last time you heard something new, by accident and it was actually dope? http://www.reverbnation.com/blastmsucconcepts
I don’t really think that you can compare lupe too weezy. That’s like talking astrophysics to a drive thru teller at Bojangles, BUT. I do with that Lupe did as much as Wayne to get back into the front. And I also with that Lupe was more intrenched in working on new fans of more commercial rap. Because on the subject of whay wayne’s dope, that’s cool. But if you’re gonna say that about wayne then what the fuck is Lupe doing? lol
LIke hov said about Jim Jones, “if you’re ballen then what the fuck am I doin?” Ya dig???

Remi never disappoints, neither does Ebony or 2 Weeks in Vegas
I like the fact that Weezy isnt afraid to rhyme about anything, i mean anything.. and his punchlines are abstract some times, clever but abstract…. i think more rappers need to not take themselves too seruiously… just rhyme, and bring back the fun to Hip Hop, i think a lot of so called “Purists” forget that a lot of the original music as just fun, not a lot of deep topics… which is what made people gravitate to it…. I think thats why Weezy has such a loyal following, he doesnt let the Hip Hop Box hold him in.. projects like Rebirth, the use of Autotune (his pseudo singing), songs like “I feel like Dying” etc
Keep doing your thing Weezy F. Baby… and please say the Baby
