In Hov’s GOTHAM magazine cover story, he admits to being a bit of a hot head.
“I don’t dislike anything about myself,” he says. “I know this sounds a little arrogant but I really accept what God has given me. I’ve got a short temper but I work on controlling it. I can say inappropriate things because I believe them to be true and sometimes that can be hurtful to others. But I think in the long run it is more helpful.”

jay probably won’t respond to 50. and if he does, it won’t be a diss record. if he were to respond in song form, it would only be on his next album…AS ALWAYS. jay usually lets all the criticism build up from all over the industry, etc, and waits…brushes it off, waits…and then addresses everything on his albums. pay attention niggas.

The grandmaster strikes again. For those that don’t know, a grandmaster is an expert chess player. That’s exactly what Jay-Z is. 50 and Beans are getting at him, so what does he do? An interview. Telling you he has a bad temper. Telling you that his status does not give him the right to treat people however he wants. Why? To combat the perceptions that exist out there about him right now. Some think he’s soft, so now he has a bad temper. Some think he uses people and throws them away like garbage when he’s done, so now he believes that the laws of the universe require him to treat people well. The guy is good. If you listen to BP3, you can really see he’s a genius. He knows just how to manipulate people, especially his hardcore fans. On a couple of songs, he talks about putting a suit on and going to the White House and texting Obama. On others, he talks about “nigga just get violent” and selling drugs. One song he’s saying he’s “off” oversize jeans, shirts, chains, and timbs, on another he’s saying “your pants too tight, your voice too light.” Then he got timbs on at The World Series. The dude is a straight genius when it comes to drawing different kinds of people in, from thugs to hipsters to regular cats. He does it in a way where people don’t even notice what he’s doing. That’s why he stays winning. If he responds to Beanie, which I doubt he will, especially not in a song, then we’ll see if him losing publicly is even possible at this point. Beanie is the only one who may have a shot at even making a battle interesting because of their history and because Beanie has a lot of skill. Most will say that Jay has more, and they’re probably right, but it only takes a few choice bars from someone who may know some ill shit about you to completely change how the world looks at you. Beanie is in a perfect position to do just that. So now we wait…..
