Now yes Keith Elam may not wanna reconcile with folks he hasn't been on good terms with for the past seven years but that's his decision not yours. From the outside lookin' in, you seem really shady. And if Guru's nephew claim is true that you signed documents as Keith Elam's brother and your wife as his sister than that's just plain alarming. An abuse of power. Releasing statements to websites and official Twitter accounts in Guru's name when he doesn't appear to be able to speak on his own behalf is also misleading and completely wrong. Be clear: At this point the only thing relevant and important is the status of Guru's health. Nobody gives a fuck about you or 7 Grand. Guru's legacy is Gang Starr. DJ Premier and Guru made classics. You and Guru make crap. And you should get slapped for meddling in family business.You Played Yourself

Interscope…that’s YOUR predictions/opinion…..this guy has actual people who “buy” music, in love wit’ his sound right now.. I’d say, it’d be very suprising to see him brick wit’ this much anticipation and buzz surroundin’ his material…hell his stock is on Saturn, but it’s Nov. and I don’t see too much heavy rotation in the promotional aspect of his record. a interview here and there, a new video and he in jail. How the hell will they physically promote that? So we’ll see, I’m hopin’ he does good cuz I wanna see him make his, like Jeezy did…but otherwise in the case of ‘real’ hip-hop, it’s goin’ to be another lackluster record released in the category of Rap
and lookin’ back at it…outta 20 songs, 12 have features…that doesn’t add up when you get the title of the actual album… I think this record should have been more personal, more solo joints. He has damn near as many interludes as solo’s…I hate ‘rap’ albums now-a-days…50 Cent album and Em’s we’re really the only shit released this year with minor to no features…like wtf?

I’m from ATL, Gucci didn’t always rap like this…..he dumbed his flow down to appeal to the “thug nigga” audience. And it worked……..why not keep doing it? He is on heavy rotation in almost every real urban market. Besides the Northeast, because they are just haters period. Then again there are only two to three relevant rappers from that region. Three is pushing it really.
Anyway………Wale got the best CD out. So let Gucci have his shine too. Broke haters never prosper. LOL.

Actually I am not a south guy. I was born in ATL. I live in DC, and I’ve been to more cities in the past 6 months then you probably have been in your whole life. I actually work for a major news/radio vehicle, so I think I kinda know something about my music. Considering they pay me over $100K to share my expertise on a daily basis. I didn’t say there weren’t “good” rappers from NY. I said “relevant.” Good doesn’t mean you get on the radio or sell records. Relevant does. Back to your corner internet thug, get off my sack, go blog, while I go get another check.’
