let’s break down the numbers jay has consistantly moved btwn like 400 and 600 albums for the last however many albums…it’s cool to sell alot in a short span like fifty but greatest in music is wat u do over the course of a career …it’s about can u achieve longevity among all the new trends..and if u look at empire state..that’s his first number 1…some may think that’s whack…but to have the most number one albums of any solo artist in any genre and to only have one number 1 is a testament to the consistancy of the body of work and therefore the career…i’m not even really hatin on fif but non one has been able to do it this long in hip hop…it wasn’t that long ago when they said hip hop was jus a fad

So really we can’t compare Jay z to 50 on any level not even album sales.
