Honestly can’t wait to hear it . Whoever songs he jacks should be a little nervous , cause in my opinion he’s better than 90% of the rappers out now . Now I know other Lupe heads may get mad at me for saying this but if he EVER decides to “Dumb It Down” just a lil’ bit……. he could easily take the game over . You’ve gotta put the metaphors down where they can reach ‘em but they still feel clever for getting the line . Jay was the master of that . Wayne and them are just too easy with the metaphors and similes, lightweights with it . Lupe is actually a 5 or 6 listen per joint minimum just to get all he said .
He obviously wants the acknowledgement of being a top MC in the game . Being understood will help him to be more appreciated . It’s too concentrated for them Lupe , dilute it just a tad and they’ll drink it all . Then once you hook ‘em take ‘em where you want to and they’ll follow . Hook ‘em first though .
