Before the Birdman swooped in and saved him with a CM contract, Shad spent last spring reuniting with JD and droppin’ another brick. Why was Bow Wow sixth album such a flop? Well besides the TLC “Baby-Baby-Baby” bounce of the strong lead single “You Can Get It All” there’s nothing here memorable or bumpable. A record with Ron Browz and Nelly (“What They Call Me (Big Time)”, more Auto-Tune with T-Pain (“She’s My”) and do we really wanna hear about this lil nigga’s home entertainment (“Pole In My Basement”)? The Kweli disser called it quits when this one crashed at SoundScan. What’s he gonna do when even a Weezy or Drizzy affiliation won’t save his music career?

Bow wow was never good. Without Jermaine this nigga is as good as shit. New jack City II flopped so bad they used the album cover as promotional poster for his new line of flip-flops.

He had a spark when he1st started, got comfortable(big-headed) and never evolved his craft.
Kinda being from my age group, I actually want him to do well. But most of his releases leave me dissapointed. He should get TI to ghostwrite for him again :p.

i have to disagree with this one. it was an album that served its purpose. i got the album. deluxe edition. & yes ima girl so maybe i have a different opinion that u guys. but i grew up with bow wow & this album was cool. not a classic but it served its purpose. to get him over the line between teenage girl rapper and respectable mc that the ladies love and the fellas like. this album was that album. only thing he shld be disappointed in are the sales.
