New Music: Drake “Successful” (Lost Verse)

Take a listen to the bars that didn’t make the final cut of “Successful”. Not as poignant as the original, but still holds up nonetheless.

Man, miss me with the fake Jay and B quotes already. Headlines. Some of you sites will do anything for attention and traffic. You really believed B would speak to Star magazine? Tuck your tabloid in. And why would Hov need to write a letter to his daughter? Bitch please. He wrote a song! It's called "Glory" and it's pretty fuckin' revealing. He went on the record (double entendre) but you still don't get it. You may hear baby Blue's first cries but no you don't know her height, weight or what she looks like. And no you ain't gettin' a flick, fool. Can new parents get some privacy? Even if they are celebrities. Sheesh! Who raised you animals? Party at the 40/40. Paps outside. Rushin' the velvet rope. Don't trip over your integrity.
Put us here if you like. The RR store stays open 24/7. SOPA? Yeah we Showcase Our Product Always. And we're gonna continue straight ahead til somebody up there turns out the lights. Start from scratch? I'm not afraid.
Damn cant lie that shit went in pretty deep .
pause.
Please someone help me to appreciate Drake’s music. I am not a hater trust. But I just cannot wrap my head around Drake’s shit. That’s unlike J.Cole who I think is the best by far out of all the New rappers about to blow up. I even like Wale. But Drake sigh, I dunno. I am yet to see what the big fuss about beyond the fact that there is a fuss which everybody seems to be caught up in.
@ yardie ute– I think the big “fuss” is about how drake is just all around musically talented. he can rap and sing on the same track. and hes got some good lyrics but in my opinion he may run out of substance because im not too sure he has a whole lot to say. i think drakes dope. as long as u remember this guys struggle has nothing to do with being in the streets. but he did struggle like many other artists to get where he is. agree with you on j. cole tho. cant ignore the fact that drake has blown up without even releasing an album. or being signed to a label for that matter until he recently signed to young money.
Drake>>>>> j.cole now that I got that out the way. Anyways cole can’t pick beats so far as I’ve hearda anyways drake has a better image to.
Pause^^^^^^ ummm drake has that look that makes me wanna hear him. A better of mic pressence.
^^ hahaha caught urself
what this dude sucks at rapping because he sounds the same every song. And this verse is halarious because he explains how people stare at him and give him looks because he’s a tool.
lol Its so funny because he was explaining exactly how Toronto parties are, and how dudes act in the club..#shoutouts to Drake for that accurate description..
and unfortunately alot of what you guys are saying is true..is sound is starting to sound repetitive..
All he used to rap about was trying to make it & trying to getting women….what else is he gonna talk about? His album should be called Feelings….lol

woah woah . . they are both talented as fuck . drake=mainstream/ cole=lyricist underground who will make it . . i see them both being major influences to our future in hiphop .
oh and p.s. i want a fuckin collab . fuck it .
Why do people like this degrassi cat?
Nothin’ cool, Gangster or even hardcore about him.
Maybe he should stop messin’ with hip hop and move to R&B.
Hip hop ain’t want his ass.
But as long as there is 14 and 15 year old girls, he will always be popular.
I doubt real niggas like this cat.
I’m sorry but what exactly is hip hop? What is rap? Is it music that degrades women, discusses selling drugs, pities all the men who are too sorry to be a real man and work hard for a living, someone who can sound big bad and bold cuz they got guns or they gang affiliated? Fuck that. If that’s what hip hop and rap is all about then it shouldn’t have a place in American society. I understand that the majority of rappers who speak of those issues are because it is incorpated in their past but I do not believe it defines who they are or who they wanna be in life. Drake’s real. He doesn’t strive to be anyone he’s not. He loves music just as much as we do and wants to tell his story. Give the man a fuckin break.
