all i know is he’s going back in forth to haiti and we’re on computers watching. i can’t criticize that nigga. only encourage and pray for the brother and haiti. president abdoulaye wade of Senegal offered the people of haiti free land and repatriation (citizenship) in senegal…to “return to their origin.” he also said that if enough haitians came, senegal would give them an entire region to build anew for themselves. fucked up up a little bit…he mentioned that of course, they are descendants of slavery too, just as south americans and north american blacks, sons of Africa. and they could come home.

Why help? You only helping the big orgs. who actually GO and “proclaim” to help these people in need. Everyone is entitled to their opinion; I just wanted to comment after reading your post.
It’s discouraging to come down on a Brother that is doing something (not for publicity but for the good of our people); if anything, he needs all the encouragement he can get. A blackman that’s involved and in a position to help our black people shouldn’t be brought down; the world is against any kind of aid when its directed to Black people and our development already . If it weren’t for the people of Haiti, the French would of ruled Louisiana and a majority of us wouldn’t be able to operate in some of the southern states. Yes, I agree with you that alot of people in the tsates needs help; you could always get up and do something about it instead of waiting for a celebrity to establish things for us. Dont talk about it, be about it. If you see a need in your community, set up something and then reach out so we could back you. We lack UNITY and trust. If all of these black organizations came together to be one mission, we wouldn’t need to depend on “The Red Cross” that mismanaged the money for Katrina victims, and FEMA.
Haiti is only an example of what is to come to America shortly. Even though you said you don’t care about Haiti you live in America, America doesn’t care about us!! You said it when you said ‘America needs to take care of it’s own internal problems before trying to be Mr. Helping Hand’ . It doesn’t matter if Wyclef was born in Haiti and live in US, we’re all considered 3/5ths of a human being and our government cares not if your born in NYC, Cali or Haiti- they don’t see blacks born here as Americans.Its time we get up and do something for ourselves and stop bringing one another down. I challenge you to set up a program in your community.

You know what. I’m trying really hard to stop speaking negatively because of the power that words hold. I just typed an novel addressing the ignorance of @james bond, but then i erased it because i realized two things. ONE: He’s not even worth the effort or sacrifice required to renig on my pledge to myself. TWO: It’s not my place to do God’s work. Your eyes need to be opened homey. Dead bodies are LITERALLY being piled up by the thousands in the streets, scooped up into dumptrucks, and discarded like trash without the slightest amount of decency and respect deserved by human beings. Everyone that knows me knows that I’m one of the most INsensitive people there are, but you have to have absolutely NO soul left in you to say the things that you have said about these people and this situation. I wish nothing bad on you homey. Just hope God touches your heart sooner than later.
