In the Jan/Feb 2010 issue of Spin, the magazine crowns the pride of Toronto “Rapper Of The Year”. His collabo with Trey Songz on “Successful” earned him the #10 spot for Top 20 Best Songs while his LP EP So Far Gone snagged the #9 spot for Top 40 Best Albums. i dont understand how ppl can name these wannabe rappers as best rappers of such and such when em’s album eats up all the sales in 2009 and each track he’s on spreads like wildfire plus crack a bottle was on of the best seeling in itunes of all times and lil wayne begs the man to do a track and still no one mentions him as one of the greatest of 2009 no one of these new r&b rappers can match his skills, he doesnt fucking care and me too as long as he’s making the great music we hear and love even though twisted mostly in the past relapse and refill, but im just wondering >_>

Dude went from an unknown to most anticipated artist within the year. I acknowledge and commend the fact. However, that’s a whole different thing from rapper of the year. I didn’t get mad at single of the year and mixtape of the year votes but this is a bit much. Let’s see if the nigga can make a decent album first. Leave the rookie SOMETHING to shoot for…….they’re givin’ him every accolade imaginable SMH
