Juelz Santana “I Wanna Rock” (Shade 45)
Thursday, January 28 2010 4:37 PM EST | Posted by: B.Dot | Posted in: Blog, Live ShowIf you need further proof of Elz’s improvement on the mic, this freestyle over Snoop’s beat should be sufficient. Live from the Shade 45 studios, he gives an impromptu performance for Kay Slay’s Ustream.

Disrespectful views at Tha Kang, T.I.? Nah, Ms. Banks you're out of line. Yeah Harris' Aussie ain't that dope but neither are you. I just saw you at Coachella and I wasn't impressed. You got the look, the swag, the tough talk but where are the tunes? "212" is alright but that's where it stops. According to Jay-Z's old board rules: You have no right to diss Tip. Look in the mirror and ask yourself: How many classic albums have you created? Are you on anyone's top 10 MCs list? Do you have any hardware on your walls, ma? Cliff is right. Keep him out of the girlfight. You're heavy in these tweets, but I hope you're finding time to create music that backs up your buzz. Or you'll soon be begone like Kreayshawn. You young ladies today bore me. *Turns up Mia X CD* No Limit forever!
The best things in life are free, but hopping on Hov's press conference stage uninvited is gon cost cha. Whatcha did was wrong! ⎯B.Dot

glad RR supports Juelz… man ppl be hatin on him lately, but the latest tracks he’s dropped (Days of our Lives, Back To the crib, mixin up the medicine, home run, this, harlem forever, etc) have all been dope.
GOD DAMNIT… this is not a freestyle.. he obviously wrote this.. how can you promote this as a freestyle bdot??? you think this is off the dome.. not a bad verse.. but this is so lame that rappers nowadays call these freestyles back on the bassment thats where real freestyles went down.. with big tigger.. this aint shit.. this i s completely written.. cant believe yourip the word freestyle by putting it anywhere near this post
u right it’s written but still dope

Clearly, its written. But these days the rules have changed. “freestyles” aren’t necessarily off the dome. Everyone knows that.
Herb Saac, back away from your saac of herbs. Something’s wrong with you if you think anyone thinks this was a freestyle freestyle. I thought we all knew that post 2001 if you rap on someone elses beat it’s called a freestyle.
Only my nigga Kay Slay could manage to fuck up VIDEO with drops.
SMH.

I just hate the internet tagging of “remix” or “freestyle” for those who really do get to hop on a real remix that an artist co-signs on.. or a rapper that really does do it off the top the dome.. psssh **SMH**
What improvement?? He still sounds like remedial cam’ron. “Catching like a catcher’s mit” Now thats some sick wordplay yo. How does he even think of this stuff?? Super Genius. You aren’t fooling anyone with this stuff. Tell the kids its hot all you want. I don’t believe that you believe it.
But cam’s new album is fucking fire.. wish dram wasnt all over it tho
@herbsaac. Yeah. Let that “this aint a freestyle” argument go. No such thing as REAL freestyling anymore. Artists aren’t willing to put themselves at risk like that. Actually it would be stupid considering how internet niggaz take s**t and run with it. A REAL freestyle wouldn’t be appreciated the way it was years ago.
@ WHAT THE……
EXACTLY. weak ass punchlines? same old easy flow?
Nothin he said was new or clever at all? Most of it was whack in fact.
What “improvement?”
