Now that Banks is back in the states after his ordeal in Canada, he’s wasting no time creating new music. In a recent phone conversation with MTV he says his first single from his upcoming album will feature the Bandana man.

“I’m just starting back,” he said. “I’ve been so focused with taking over the street and people hearing me back on that market — so when I come with the official records, they’ll appreciate it more. ‘Beamer, Benz or Bentley,’ It’s a club record, party record, car record. It’s a lot of energy and something new. It’s a sound that ain’t out there right now.”

I don’t care what anyone else says that album’s an undisputed classic and one of the best of the past decade. Tell ‘em I said that.

While out in La La Land, Bobby Ray gave the Los Angeles Leakers a new one from his May 25th mixtape. It features his fellow XXL Freshmen on an old Kanye West beat. Everybody wants to go out on top. I decided to stay there. Ha.
