Wasalu tells Sha that the pesky bootleggers made him shut down a sequel to Enemy Of The State and he also explains why he halted the DJ Absolut mixtape of his early tunes too.

“Sometimes I feel there may be too much Lupe music out there — whether it be old stuff or new stuff or freestyles. I don’t want to have a ton of music sitting out. I made the decision to fall back from it… The one thing I don’t want with that is confusion. I want the message to at least connect until we get to the release date. After that, we can do whatever. Right now, it’s Lasers time.”

Around midnight, Mouse let another J. Cardim produced joint go. This one hurt his heart though, Joe really wanted it to be on his next album but sample clearance was a no-go. Oh well, his loss, our gain. Hey, is the last verse about you-know-who? Whoa.

While getting tatted up, a topless Ricky sheds some light to MTV on his reunion with John Legend. The track titled “Sweet Life” is pretty much wrapped up with a video on the way.

“But the new John Legend [collaboration] is most definitely next-level vibe. We back at it. It’s most definitely creative. Shout-out to John Legend — I think he makes a huge contribution to music. Myself, I try to get better and better with every rhyme I make — every rhyme I bring to the table, I want to make sure it’s more potent than the last. Today it was announced that Ludacris would join the Black Eyed Peas on their The E.N.D. U.S.tour. The 32 stop concert kicks off in his hometown of Atlanta next Thursday. Check where Luda will be disturbing the peace after the jump.
