Lupe’s Mixtape Inspired By MTV List
Monday, February 01 2010 10:17 AM EST | Posted by: B.Dot | Posted in: Blog, FocusWasalu says that his latest mixtape, Enemy Of The State: A Love Story was fostered after his snub on MTV’s Hottest MC List. “Y’all sit at that table, and y’all forget who I am. It’s like, ‘That’s cool. I been through this before.’ I was like, ‘Let me give my fans that. Let me let them know that I’m still capable of that. Let me show MTV I’m hot too.’ Kept it short. I felt, if you’re nice, you don’t need an hour. You don’t need one hour and 35 minutes. You don’t need 100 freestyles every week. You need a nice demonstration of what you’re capable of doing very effectively, and you step back. Leave you wanting more. Sometimes the best part of the movie is the trailer.” Lights, camera, action.

Man, miss me with the fake Jay and B quotes already. Headlines. Some of you sites will do anything for attention and traffic. You really believed B would speak to Star magazine? Tuck your tabloid in. And why would Hov need to write a letter to his daughter? Bitch please. He wrote a song! It's called "Glory" and it's pretty fuckin' revealing. He went on the record (double entendre) but you still don't get it. You may hear baby Blue's first cries but no you don't know her height, weight or what she looks like. And no you ain't gettin' a flick, fool. Can new parents get some privacy? Even if they are celebrities. Sheesh! Who raised you animals? Party at the 40/40. Paps outside. Rushin' the velvet rope. Don't trip over your integrity.
Put us here if you like. The RR store stays open 24/7. SOPA? Yeah we Showcase Our Product Always. And we're gonna continue straight ahead til somebody up there turns out the lights. Start from scratch? I'm not afraid.
well said sir…
^^……yea two months ago…why is this recent news? this was already understood
Uhm this is pathertic.. this dude is an icon to tight wearing emo hair cut fags.. and the hip hop-esque followers of lebrick james.. They both have the same style both emulate urkel and both are ridiculously over hyped.. I mean Lebron is to Kobe what Barkley was to Jordan(never got a ring but was a bad ass on the court) and Lupe is to the game what Fall out boy was to the rock landscape(comes in voer-hyped with a hot single or three then drops out of the limelight to not be heard from again except for those people that get wayyyy wayyyyyyyyyy into trends..) **smh**
