Pointless? One of the top Hip Hop artist performing for the Super Bowl being posted on a hip hop blog site is pointless? SMH. Talk about a hater.
Wow everybody is so extreme with it. A good argument could be made that Jay is the best to ever do it, however a well founded argument could be made that he’s not. You can’t name 5 rappers dead or alive that there would be any consensus amongst a knowledge group of hip hop heads that are/were inarguably better than him. Neither is he better than Em, Pac, Big and Nas COMBINED. You can mention his name with anybody to ever do it, that’s saying all you can say about something as subjective as who the GOAT is.
All that aside, another groundbreaking move by Jay. Speculation about his character, and spiritual affiliations aside, how can you not appreciate all the doors he’s kicking open for hip hop? It’s a smart nigga in the rap game today that will run up and put a door stop in every door he opens before they close again on the rest of the hip hop crowd. Stop hating and follow the obvious leader before the scent gets too cold to follow. You don’t have to dig his style to wanna take your own style to where he’s making it possible for you to go.

Lol I wouldn’t put Jay over Em. Em is more talented when he is in his zone. I wouldn’t get mad at anyone for calling Jay the Goat though. Jay is very talented and should definitely be in that conversation.
As for this remix, I love operatic, suspenseful, instrumentation in Hip Hop. I hope Eminem does something with an orchestra or a live guitar as Hov did with this and the live performance with John Mayer (they both sounded ill as fu*k). Props on this. I wish there was a downloadable audio version with decent sound quality.
