How can u like someone that “isnt that good lyrically?” NewJerz was obviously trying 2 portray himself as an objective rap fan, but caught himself in his own lie. Other than that this verse was fire. He had me skeptical w/ the flow in the beginning of the verse, but as the verse progressed it got better and better.

“Hater make no sense”. You obviously have difficulty with reading comprehension. I stated my problems with Nas very explicitly. He isn’t that good lyrically. And his fan boys constantly talk about all of the “substance” his music has when in reality he raps about money he doesn’t have, estates he doesn’t have, etc. – the same fabricated materialistic bullsh*t that every wack rapper on the radio spits about. He throws in the word “poverty” or “black” or “Africa” in a verse and suddenly fanboys think the entire verse is crack lyrically and that it has a meaningful message – neither of which are usually the case. I like Nas and always have. That doesn’t mean I can’t expect a little more from him homey.

Come on mang, you Nas d*ck riders take it too far. His lyrics here are as basic as can be and – probably mostly fabricated – materialistic bs. I have nothing against Nas. I kinda liked the first two singles from Distant Relatives (which I didn’t think I would) but, this is weak. It sounds half decent. Its not complete trash. Its still mediocre though. Come on, keep it g. Jay delivered a very good album. Em did the same and has been dropping singles and collabs that are flames ever since.
