Back at Jay-Z’s dinner gala this past weekend, Hovito tells MTV that he’s got a “crazy” record completed for his new album. Interesting. Hopefully, it’s not too experimental.

There are a lot of things that would be experimental for Jay that wouldn’t necessarily be something so crazy and off the wall that nobody could really feel it. As far as his music is concerned he hasn’t strayed too too far away from what has worked for him. For him experimentation could be rhyming in front of a live band like Black Thought, or finally rhymin’ , “…. like Common Sense…”, like he said he always wanted to. He could do a lot that HE hasn’t tried before that would be just be unbelievable to hear. As long as it’s not a hip hop version of a U2 record and as long as Swizz isn’t at the helm of the production I’m good.
