Back in the candy shop, Nicki tells 1515 that she’s taking her time on releasing her debut album. Ironically, Sean Garrett told MTV her first single should be dropping soon. I’m all confused.

1st, I’ll like to say thank GOD. We have won’t have dumb music for a second, including Wayne going to jail. (notice how quiet it was for T.I in jail Hope same for Wayne)
2nd, this is stupid. You drop you project when the buzz is popping. if she drop and album in 2011 the public will likely not be as interested as they are now.
Same for Drake, lot of hype and “co-signs” but longer they take less interest, imo.
But it seems they trying to do some news stuff by staying in the public, then extend the relevancy with the album. Could work, but what happens with things like this is that some “other hype” may come along and steal they whole roster’s shine.
That happen to many, 50, Aftermath taking so long drop talented artist. Now the Math is no longer in reign, though Wayne/Cash MOney is still not topping Aftermath’s worst moments.
On side note: Dr. Dre is the ONLY cat in the game that has the most, biggest first weeks sales under him/his label.

Nicki Is beautiful. I 100% understand where she is coming from because female rap albums are unheard of being classic or popular. Female rappers are eye candy in my book. I remember wanting to fuck Lil Kim, Foxy Brown, Salt-N-Peppa, Lia Lopez, etc when they came out. However Missy Elliot has had good music.
