That’s what MCing was based off of to begin with…Getting the party going. “How Low” sales also benefited from the fact that was a hype/fun song for women, not just white people. Women aren’t necessarily going to go spend their 1.99 on iTunes to buy a “street” or “hood” song, but they will for something to make them dance.

I’ll admit I don’t like Luda’s new direction but as many of the other comments have said, he’s proved himself time and time again (Back For The First Time, Word of Mouf, Chicken-N-Beer, The Red Light District…) < all great albums; at this point in his career he should be able to go in whatever direction he wants.
