Last and certainly not least, comes Jay Rock’s XXL freestyle. Now that all 10 MC’s have been revealed, let’s see whose mugs make the front cover. Any bets?

the front Cover should be Nipsey,J.Cole,Big Sean,Wiz Khalifa
and the rest of them niggas on the other one or if its the top 3 it need to be Nipsey,J.cole and Big Sean on one cover Wiz Khalifa,Pill,Freddie Gibbs on the other and the rest of them niggas on the last one Fashawn,Donnis,Oj Da Juiceman, and Jay Rocc on the last one becuz 2 of these niggas we never heard of 1 we wish we never heard and one is Cool but just not better that the 6 before him

i dont think Nicki Shouldve turnt down the magazine spot I think that was a call made by Drake and a Bad 1 becuz it makes no sense for you to be on the cover of Complex but you cant get on the cover of XXL and you was going to be the 1st Female
that was a bad call by Nicki and most likely she wouldve got a cover spot by herself it or it wouldve really meant something for her to be standing there with all dudes it wouldve stop this since your a dude your better no sense thats going on in Hiphop

to be honest Curren$y shouldnt had been on the cover either becuz he was deep in the game and was a freshman in 2006 so he shouldnt have been on that cover either but he still did it no album out you still a rookie
like I said for all we know Drake can be another papoose a 2 million dollar deal with nothing to show for it

but i also think Short Dawg shouldve got on there before Cashis But him and Glasses and Terrace Martin is like a Tie
I like this list with the exception of OJ, not hating or anything he’s just not for me.

Off this list I fuck with J.cole,Gibbs,& Pill hard.
Honorable mentions imo- Yelawolf,willie the kid(street version of lupe),All$tar,marvo,kevin gates,Horse shoe gang(crooked i’s brothers),& tito lopez. Their buzz is not as big as the Freshmen 10 but they r all NICE.

I youtube’d those tracks u posted.Didnt hear nothin special.Hes not bad but not great either.His style seems more along the lines of Wiz & Curren$y,meaning its more based off of swag. Me personally,I prefer pure rawness.

Ok Just Watch Just how Cudi Jumped on the scene despite the hype behind Charles, Asher, Cory Gunz sean is going to do the same thing he not only is nice he got one of the best teams behind him Kanye, Cudi, Common, Mr.Hudson,John Legend, a Def Jam Distribution and not to mention the nigga Fashion Game is up there

I see him just like I seen Cudi last year shining the most out of this class I wasnt even up on Cudi till that cover and I heard a kid named cudi mixtape and that Demo Tape Mixtape shit and I knew dude was going to shine out of all them niggas and its the Samething with Sean its only 2 niggas on there with Classic Mixtapes Nipsey and J.Cole and Sean Finally Famous gotta be right underneath them in quality wise

Naw,Im not doubting that dude wont blow up,its just music wise I dont think hes the best out of the 10 freshmen. He def is marketable,which is the BIGGEST factor labels look for. But I dont think his debut album is gonna be better than J.cole’s and Gibbs,strickly off the mixtape material I heard from them.
As for the age,its good to hear a young nigga that can rap but him & Pill r around the same age and I think Pill got him,listen to “hear somebody comin”.
And Curren$y has a Dame Dash cosign,which I guess is big(?). I just think he shud go the independent route.Everybody is not meant to be a major artist. Just build ur own fanbase,release albums on the regular,sell a couple hundred thousand a project,do shows,and u good. Thats a wayy better plan than signing to a major,flopping and being broke.
