Knock it off! Snoop is trash and this tape is trash…. This IS NOT the Best from The West!! For Real? These are the clowns left that Snoop can hustle to hopefully get a budget off of before he’s a total wrap! His last album did what… 60k first week?? – compare that to Raekwon (both w/EMI) who did the same if not a few thousand more.
On the real, nobody cares about Snoop out West anymore. or that old ass G-Funk shit – like can we progress?? Shit is played out…20 yrs in the game homie… its time to stand down soldier!!!
Kurupt, Daz, E-White, The Twinz? Knock it off!!!! Then niggaz is burnt! The best nigga on the tape is Nip, Lucc & Problem – the rest of them dudes is trash!! He could never be a Jay-Z with a successful label – or a Wayne with a plethora of talented artists because he too busy trying to look out for the “crip homies” who are all burnt out – Good to see E-White cleaned up after years of smoking crack…
But as I look over this reject, opps, I mean project – where are the likes of Glasses, Crooked, Jay Rock, Slimm The Mobster, Kendrick Lamar, YG, Ya Boy, CSD, Ab Soul, U-N-I, Young Hootie, Hunnedstack P, 211, Strong Arm Steady, Diz Gibran, Dom Kennedy, Skeme?? Fuck it, even The New Boyz, Cold Flames, The Bangz & The Dollz – thats what the kids in the streets are on… Like it or not, its what it is – you can embrace it, or look like the old man you are trying to push something consumers dont wanna buy. That’s like trying to sell dirt weed in the hood when the Granddaddy Kush is readily available – who wants that shit??!!!
Snoop, Cube & Dre are the reasons the West stay divided, and non-relevant in the marketplace – This nigga Cube had the nerve to say ‘He Is The West Coast” – Word? And Snoop’s miniscule thinking that he just wanna work with the Crips he’s down with… and them niggas suck…

Its too many new, hot acts in LA to be focusing on niggaz that have been around doing it for 20 years and still trying to hang on for dear life… and you trying to present them as this is what the West has to offer?? If labels don’t see you as viable, shouldn’t that tell you something? A Real BOSS would showcase ALL the aspects of artists emerging from LA whether you have a personal tie to them or not… And doesn’t have to be “all on the song, all in up in the video” (Suge from the 95 Source Awards)
But hey what can u expect from someone that been under someones wings for their entire career? He cant control his own career, how & why would another artist trust him with theirs?
Snoop’s shining moments have only been when he had a major EXECUTIVE PRODUCER/VISIONARY attached to him. First Suge, Then Master P, then Skateboard P – its been all downhill after he stopped working with Pharrell… Oh and let’s not forget the classic moments with his spiritual advisor/personal manager Bishop Magic Don Juan. Coonery at its finest…
Funny I remember my man at Geffen saying everyone’s mouth dropped when Snoop actually brought Don Juan into a major business meeting and introduced him as his “advisor” – why would his current manager allow that? Imagine Steve Stoute walking into a meeting with Pimpin Ken & Jay-Z – Foolish right? Yeah, and you want this guy to be the head of what? IGA (Interscope Geffen A&M) never looked at him the same or took him serious again.. hence one of the reasons he’s no longer with the company…
Real quick, let’s look at his accomplishments aside say a Jay-Z. Someone SNOOP would say he’s on the same level as. A smart business man such as Jay-Z will grab an artist and blow them up so they in turn, make financial gain & in time can fall back with an accumulative income. Example: Jay-Z w/ Kanye West. Kanye is a mega-star, maybe even bigger than Jay – but Jay makes money off of Kanye. MILLIONS at that. Same with Wayne, he will eat off Drake, Nicki Minaj & TYGA – all of whom are bigger than SNOOP and anyone SNOOP is aligned with (TYGA excluded). Now of the artists mentioned, none are from the same hood or even same state as their Executor (if u will). NOW thats GOOD BUSINESS…
So being from the West, and continuously seeing this bullshit is disgusting to me… I mean Snoop doesnt even have a comparable manager to the likes of todays ICONS. If he did, why would they allow him to release the wack music he does??? Let alone allow him to be his own image consultant?? Can someone send Snoop some clothes please?? I mean damn! He looks like a bum everywhere he appears – Did you see that get up at Juelz Santana b-day party? Juelz could probably sign Snoop (or at least thats how it looked that nite) if he wanted too
And who approved the bevy of low-budget videos for “Malice In Wonderland” – I seen better internet-only videos from broke rappers out of LA with NO BUDGETS!!!! We wont even discuss the “Malice In Wonderland” movie… #dead

No disrespect to Bad Lucc – I fuck with dude – and at least he got to write “Gangsta Luv” for Snoop and got alil cheddar in his pocket. Between Bad Lucc & Problem, I dont think Snoop wrote any of this album? I hope they got their publishing for that.
But anyway, I just wanted to give you a quick list of those artists Snoop was been connected to but never blew (Eastsidaz don’t count because Snoop was in the group)!!! They never even had a chance under his tutelage. I’m sure that there are more of them, but I aint got the time to regurgitate the bullshit. Compare these weed carriers to the likes of The Young Gunz, Beanie Sigel, Freeway, Memphis Bleek. They all sold substantially under Jay’s empire to be able to make some sort of living without him today. (i.e: Freeway – 10k independently first week ain’t bad oki)
Whoa!! What happened to the MTV 360 deal? Remember that? A full on record deal surrounding that terrible TV Show “Dogg After Dark” which couldn’t garner enough viewers to fill a movie theater…. MTV pulled out of that real quick!!!! Another fiasco… (no Lupe)
