oooh the pressure. rappers just love to rap, even when they’re not sure, they just can’t help themselves. and they love to keep making money. they’re addicted to the high of the crowd and “numbers”. jay-z couldn’t let a hit record from someone else pass w/o jumping on it. bp3 is cool. he’ll always be talented. the collabos were a cool way to stay relevant and experiment. 50 and the black magic? i’m up for being surprised. this last effort of his seems dated. i like do you think about me performed w/the band and that singing dude. i like the way he goes into baby by me after i get money & but that’s not enough to make me listen to the cd in its entirety. i’m ready for my senses to be moved and to be really body rocked by an artist, not just seduced by his promotional campaign and manufactured life story.

@g-unot I agree that 50 did lose that heat he had back in the days because he’s too rich to care. But still I’d bump his shit over drake’s just because drake’s got nothing in his rhymes that makes me feel anything, it’s like ”alright… but what are you trying to say”’ while with fif’s shit it can still make me mad or happy or something. And I repeat, I’m not a big fan of fifty but even today he is better than young money roster, and forget the sales and shit, it don’t mean nothing, it’s the music that’s important.
