Despite Gucci Mane’s six month jail sentence, DJ Holiday tells 1515 that La Flare laid down his vocals for the Burrrprint 2 mixtape over the phone.
“We matched up a beat with Drumma Boy, and [Gucci] rapped on it. But he rapped a cappella over the phone, and we matched up the beat to it in the studio.”
Unburrlievable.
I hope this is true and not a marketing ploy. If they really did this from jail I applaud him. He must have felt Wacka was not going to be available to hold him down the way he been wreckless putting himself in these situations. At the end of the day the leader is who holds a squad down.
