Drizzy and Dream slow it down here with their collaboration from Thank Me Later. Pardon the annoying ass sample clearance only drops, but this will have to do for now. Hopefully a tagless version surfaces soon.

  5. Drakes Gay says:

Drake will be a flop, he has now areas to reach to for inspiration in writing, no personal experiences to look back on that would be worth writing about, not long back he said he studies Nas & others……well stay studying my dude, you won’t be him.

  11. Pyth says:

So Far Gone Was Spotty As Hell The Warm Up Is Classic Front To Back With Hardly Any Guest Features, It’s Fucked Up Cole Is Gonna Have To Stand In Wheelchair Jimmy’s Shadow When He Is So Much Better Than Him. Cole Has Held His Own With Jay-Z, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, & Jay Electronica Who Has Drake Held His Own With “Lil Wayne”???? Not Saying Drake Is Wack But He Is “So Far Overhyped” Sorry…

  12. Theloneus says:

    HOV THE G.O.A.T
    DRAKE THE FUTURE

THE ROC CHAIN IS BACK SUCKERS

  16. Pause Police says:

Hip-Hop heads are fuckin douchebags. I grew up deejaying and breaking but when it comes to the music people contradict themselves. Something isn’t “real hip-hop” when it abides by the principles. Drake actually talks about a lot of human emotions without being annoying like Atmosphere, yet somehow he’s wack. The guy’s not Nelly (and if he were so what?). The older you get, the less you’ll wanna hear someone’s punchlines and more enjoy the energy of the song and the melody

  17. Man I just don’t think this is a good sign of things to come…
This isnt necessarily, “Bad..” but come on, this is just more proof that Drake isn’t a Hip-Hop artist…he’s got songwriting skills and a good eye for melody…but when he’s constantly exploiting the “Dream” side of his skills, it does nothing to prove to me that he is what “They” say he is (a “top 5 lyricist” the new fresh prince, etc etc)

Im still optimistic about the album:

Rap Radar already ran a story about “thank me later” that I featured here:

    http://hypothesisspits.com/2010/03/12/drakes-thank-me-later-already-described-as-an-instant-classic/

  18. WHY HATE? says:

How u figure drake considers himself a legend… dude been out since 05 & J cole been out since 07.. thats 2 more yrs of experience… Drake got hot bc of ppl in the streets…. J Cole better than Drake??? You Fucking Crazy

  19. koa29 says:

Not even listening to this, that sample clearance shit doesn’t make the track listenable… i’ll wait for the CDQ

  20. Young Nas says:

Its aiight! Something for the ladies

  21. Julie says:

@ MAY THE LORD STRIKE WACK RAPPERS WITH LIGHTNING

“last name ever, first name lamest” hahahahahahahahahahaha, agreed!

  22. Real Nigga says:

    Drake PLEASE STICK TO RAPPING…

  23. Truth_City says:

Heard this yesterday, dope stuff, i wish no failure on no man, i hope he has continued success, God bless

  24. Oj Da Cornball says:

I actually think he might kill himself (career suicide) by playing both fields. For some reason (machine push) he’s perceive a great lyricist, but this R&B thing at the same time might not be acceptable.
Before you bring up Lauryn Hill she was more talent that a great lyricist, but it work for but doesn’t mean it will automatically be accepted as her case. As you can see many people feel he overrate and get hate for it (the hate sometimes are just resistance when the public disagree with a “push” from the machine)
    We’ll see.

  25. Mr.AFromThaT says:

Wow… I just dont think i can like this, i like rnb more than the next guy but “Dude?” And Drake, word of advice, put out 3 rap albums before you “try” this shit, Dont get it twisted, i want to like all of Drake’s stuff, but at these sircumstances, its TOO damn hard

  26. mmkayy says:

i neva understood so far gone hype.. this track sounds like smethng from that mixtape nd yall dont like it? nd some are sayin “this aint rap” like they didnt kno he sings on 50% of SFG.. Im confused lol but imo Dream fckd it up.. He sounds like a girl

  27. Nathaniel says:

i get it…Thank Me Later will be So Far Gone pt. 2. and since i wasn’t impressed with so far gone, i can see why i’m not impressed with this shit either.

maybe the ladies will eat this up. his obsession with women is odd though. that’s all this nigga talks about it seems. eh, whatever. good luck nigga

@mmkay, the dream sounds like a fucking sissy. it’s revolting. whining ass christopher robin ass nigga.

  28. mmkayy says:

    ^lol

actually i take that back.. Im not confused.. Yall are confused lol

  29. B. Digital says:

I’ll listen to it when someone deletes that annoying tag.

  30. Blakout615 says:

Damn, anything Drake related stay gettin alot of comments lol. Not a fan but its pretty easy to see that dude is gonna sell sum records whether the music is top notch quality or not. *shrugs*

  31. koa29 says:

    @WHY HATE?

    first of all…irony with ur name…cuz u hatin nigga….but i’ll explain

Drake’s a legend because he’s one of the few that’s gotten this HUGE amount of buzz before his debut album even dropped. He got nominated for 2 grammys without an album out. Has never happened before. Only him, 50 & Snoop had this much buzz when they came out. (50 had the most, IMO)… so technically, he’s gunna be well known for awhile… he’s not legendary status like Em, snoop, 50, dre, jay, nas, rakim, etc. but he’s legendary in the fact that he’s done something that no one has done before……. which is kind of a double edged sword, this dude can come out to huge numbers like 50 did, then drop off….. Someone like Jay (11 #1 albums in a row) only comes around once in a lifetime

  32. @blakout615 Haha, I know: Drake’s buzz is ridiculous…I’m def interested to see how the 1st week #’s will turn out…his #’s for the So Far Gone release were insane.

  33. Everyone seems to easily forget that Drake has been in the entertainment industry since 2001.

The Dude was on Degrassi: The Next Generation.

He had an agent signing checks over to his parents way before he signed to Young Money.

He had millions of teenage fans before Wayne even knew what autotune was…

He might work hard, but on Wax—Drake acts like we should respect his hustle as if he had the same path to fame as Jay-Z.

  34. psycho says:

    @koa29

never put 50 & Drake in the same sentence douchbag…there never be a rapper that gonna impact the rap game the way 50 did.

  35. RapMusic23 says:

Oh my god..fucking TRASH.The 2 songs i have heard from his album sucks

  36. koa29 says:

    @hypo

I see what you mean, but i look at it this way..

Jay’s rise to fame…he came from the projects, had a hard life, etc… That’s the classic rap artist come up. Easily accepted by people because of their hard life.

Drake on the other hand is a half-black jewish kid who was on a teenage TV show…… and he’s being accepted by top hip hop artists & the mainstream? that’s crazy…. it just doesnt happen…and the dude’s music is dope enough to have that done… so u gotta show him some respect for actually being able to break through that stereotype.

I don’t really care about these dude’s lives….only thing that matters to me is that they put out dope music. If they dont…. on to the next one. and drake’s dope imo

  37. koa29 says:

    @psycho

easy……I 100% agree with u… i’m just sayin, their buzz is SOMEWHAT comparable…. dont cut my head off bruh

  38. WHY HATE? says:

@koa29 how am i hating, i said exactly wat u said in shorter words

  39. R.E.D. says:

wack shit i hope it dont make the album

  40. R.E.D. says:

Fall for your type>shut it down

  41. LULZ says:

lmao @ niggas who obviously hate drake taking the opportunity to enforce it on the world by crucifying a track you can barely hear
can anyone actually tell if this is good or bad? lmfao @ the interwebs :p

  42. WHY HATE? says:

@RapMusic23 wat 2 songs did u hear?? cuz if u heard “over” & “fall for your type” and they are garbage to u.. u need help.. STR8 FIRE…

Drake speaks relevant stuff but ya cant appreciate that.. seems like a nigga gotta rap about a fantasy life for ya to think hes hot .. the nigga is an artist not a rapper (@koa29 is speaking real shit)

  43. DRAKE? says:

    ^^I can, it sucks

  44. @koa29
def agree that Drake’s acceptance in the music industry has been groundbreaking..

Drake is truly the FIRST Artist to achieve fame based on using social-networking, online media, and other digital industries to establish themselves as an artist.

Soulja-Boy was the first good example of the new age of music that we live in, but I think the public has taken Drake way further because, lets be honest, talent wise – you can’t really compare Soulja Boy and Drake.

  45. G(W)ayne says:

    I’ve thought Drake’s a rapper… What a Fuck is this?

  46. mikey says:

did christina milian do dreams part?
