The apple really doesn’t fall too far from the tree. Today, Run’s middle son Diggy, signed a deal with Atlantic Records. Congrats! If that wasn’t enough, Diggy also turned 15 years old yesterday. How’s that for a birthday present.

Disrespectful views at Tha Kang, T.I.? Nah, Ms. Banks you're out of line. Yeah Harris' Aussie ain't that dope but neither are you. I just saw you at Coachella and I wasn't impressed. You got the look, the swag, the tough talk but where are the tunes? "212" is alright but that's where it stops. According to Jay-Z's old board rules: You have no right to diss Tip. Look in the mirror and ask yourself: How many classic albums have you created? Are you on anyone's top 10 MCs list? Do you have any hardware on your walls, ma? Cliff is right. Keep him out of the girlfight. You're heavy in these tweets, but I hope you're finding time to create music that backs up your buzz. Or you'll soon be begone like Kreayshawn. You young ladies today bore me. *Turns up Mia X CD* No Limit forever!
The best things in life are free, but hopping on Hov's press conference stage uninvited is gon cost cha. Whatcha did was wrong! ⎯B.Dot
Diggy had it made even before all of this. Just looks better on him that he’s got some talent to work with.
HE GOT A DEAL, GREAT
NOW PUT YA TALENT ON A CD
IF U WANNA SHINE BY YOURSELF !
kids got talent and alotta potentail i hop they groom him right and dont rush him!
Great pick up…I find it interesting that while Def Jam is trying sign guys on their way out…the “Real Def Jam” over at Atlantic is looking to the future..And this kid is a STAR across the board.
Go Diggy!

Why didnt he go to Def jam?
@ everyone who said it was who he knows then you need to listen to his ‘over’ and “made you look’ freestyles, he just turned 15 and out rapped some major rappers entire catalouges in two freestyles. his mixtape was ok 4 what it was, while it was’nt the best he seems to have good songwriting skills and he seems to always stay on topic unlike most rappers of today who rely heavily on punchlines which most times are just random rhyming punchlines about balla shit. if diggy stay focused ppl like me will be saying ‘we told you so’ in 5 yrs from now when he wont even be 21. he is very advanced 4 his age….
def jam is the new RCA
i remember when Diggy was in the “Blood money pt. 3″ video with his pops…now he’s inkin a deal…that’s wassup
He signs a deal and all you can talk about is JoJo and his wackness. Know how many NBA players have older siblings that played ball as well? You Fuckin Crabs!!
NEWYORK IS BACK.PROPHECY!! CONGRATS DIGGY!
Wow….That’s gotta hurt. For JoJo, I mean. You had a group you were in heavily promoting yourselves for a minute. You made the rounds. Did the DVDs, etc. And not too many people were really feeling you. Not the Son of Run!!! How could that be? Then all of a sudden….your younger brother steps his bars up in a MAJOR way, has real hardcore heads checking for him, and on the strength of a mixtape that has heavy buzz, and a few freestyles, he gets signed to a major record label at the age of 15. No disrespect…but we see who’s the heir apparent.
