  1. So Icy Boi! says:

    Free my nigga WEEZY! … dis shit was a deep letter (no homo)

  2. King JuggaNott says:

    That was nice right there. I wish something good comes out of this situation. Wayne from a distance seems like a good dude. He’s handling this as good as the situation allows so far.

  3. Oj Da Cornball says:

    Where’s the confession about getting butt raped and he will stop rapping when home?

  4. […] Free weezy he is a good person and that letter was deep spotted at Rap Radar. […]

  5. Legacy says:

    Letter to his fans? hahaha nigga’s taken shits that last longer then homies bid, fuck outta here.

  6. King JuggaNott says:

    I think I’m going to write him a letter for a book to read, whenever I link up with positive cats this book always comes up in my convo **my favorite book**

    The Falsification of Afrikan Consciousness: Eurocentric History, Psychiatry and the Politics of White Supremacy by Amos N. Wilson

    ……I encourage any of you to read that book. It changed my thought process a great deal and I’m sure it will do the same for anyone who reads it.

  7. RaginCajun' says:

    lol….no ones gonna read your trash ass books.

  8. bout-my-paper says:

    he shouldn’t have gotten himself incarcerated.

  9. Oj Da Cornball says:

    All jokes side from, I don’t care for the letter. it’s propaganda to me.

    However, i hope he really is serious with God. I hope God changes his heart so that he comes home a new man, his lyrics change and influence the kids positively. I hope he truly repents and not lean on God cause he down.

    Bad logic for him to think hate is badly express love. God hates all the wicked stuff Wayne promote and stand for, and that’s is not God badly expressing his love for Wayne’s wicked sins he practices and promote. Hope The Lord will changes his heart.

    Logic says there is hate and love separtely. Wayne spit hate in his lyrics.
    Youth, do let your Fanaticism of Wayne blind you with the sweet talk of Wayne letters and thank you’s as a fan. his is not a positive influence. Look for better.

    Don’t Hate on My post. kick rocks.

  10. Nathaniel says:

    yeah write that nigga with that book suggestion @King JuggaNott

    lil wayne is smart. or whoever suggested he do this…is very very smart. this is going to make for a very magnanimous return.

    can’t front on the nigga…he said some real sincere shit in those few words. the people who are weezy fans will only be even more devoted to this nigga’s brand when this is all said and done.

    smart move.

  11. Nathaniel says:

    @Oj Da Cornball

    so you preach a sermon about how God feels about lil wayne RIGHT after talking about the nigga getting butt raped in jail. ok.

  12. Tate says:

    It’s good that he’s in good spirits, but it never fails that a person finds God when they go to jail…I pretty much expected this, just not so soon. Before it was lean and purp, now its its God. yep

  13. Oj Da Cornball says:

    @Nathaniel

    That was a joke hence all joke aside from me? I mean, wasn’t it clear i was making a joke? If you heard making the joke in person you would not perceive it that way?
    That said, of course the joke could not have been appropriate but uh, it does NOT negate what i said.
    A dirty cop does not void the law. A person need to obey all laws despite what a crooked cop did.
    My jokes does not free Wayne from God’s judgement. That’s Logic

    Peace

  14. cam says:

    i woulda thought the dude was doin a stretch the way he wrote this shit lol.. but lookin forward to weezy comin back to the game.

  15. King JuggaNott says:

    I can’t say that I don’t understand the Negative Opinions people will have. As far as him “finding” God…c’mon…I’m sure he knows God is always with him, just like he is with all of us. It’s easy to witness him “finding” God in a sense because what else is there? I mean, I have never been locked up but I can only imagine.

    On another note….the smartest thing that slave masters did was release us from the chains and give us freedom. We were probably more unified back then, in the slavery days. They must have wised up and realized that NOBODY and I mean NOBODY can HATE US…..more than we HATE OURSELVES. I’m with anything positive….when a brother is speaking something positive why throw stones at him….no matter if it’s just for that brief period….clap it up for that moment of clarity. If he slips he slips, that ain’t God. Let him acknowledge some positivity without cat’s jumping down his throat. Damn fellas….**sorry, I’m trying to even out the negative**

  16. mistahzee says:

    this dude will become a pastor like ur boy mase.

  17. Oj Da Cornball says:

    @King JuggaNott

    Not to take this to a crazy religious discussion.

    but God is not always with us. (I guess that’s also depends on what belief of god you referring to). The god the bible is quiet the contrary. He only are for those he chose and truly are for him.
    Could God be with Wayne? Maybe, i don’t know what the creator has in store for Wayne’s tomorrow or now.So it’s up to him. but for what Wayne stands for, what his heart speaks in the lyrics God is totally distant from such heart and person, but He knows if he is with Wayne.

    P.S. I’m not speaking or wish the worst for Wayne (i joke around) but I will speak against what can cause confusion to those following him when I know it’s not true. Like “God cool with me” while one promote the very things He hates”. I sincerely hope he at great peace with Go; in proper context of God’s own standard, not ours nor his.

    To some, don’t know the religious talk either. It’s in Wayne’s letter so i think it’s fitting to talk it here.

  18. GUEGZ says:

    DAMN Weezy! u got me on this one, u got me!

    “Trying to tear down the past prohibits you from building up your future”.

  19. Blakout615 says:

    This has nothin to do with the letter but umm……someone PLEASE send Wayne a pen&pad while hes locked up! Im tired of the whole “I dont write rhymes down” thing dude has been doing. He has to understand everybody cant be BIG,Jay,common……Some cats NEED to write. 98% of his verses sound freestyled,no effort put towards them. If he actually sat down,focused,and formulated his thoughts,dude could be the way he was back in the Carter 2,D2 days. Now granted he wasnt writing back then but that was before the ummm stuff in his personal life took over.
    Look at T.I. He just started writing right before he recorded Paper Trail. And as a fan of his since ‘Im Serious’, I can say his rhymes nowadays sound more fluently.

    I grew up where them people call them people on us
    Think we slangin but we just got beepers on us
    Grinding all day like we got sleep insomnia
    Living like the videos write a treatment on us
    Stuck in the hood like they poured cement on us
    Ghetto bird still shitin on us
    Government still quitting on us
    Lost a few homies and the grief’s still sitting on us
    So we got they names written on us
    White folks still spitting on us…..”

    ^ Tell me when Wayne starts spitting like that again smh.

  20. King JuggaNott says:

    That’s what up @ Cornball..I believe that GOD is in us period. YOU choose to bury him deep within, and ignore him. Until all is stripped from you and you can’t drown out what you already know by indulging in poison. It’s growth dude, I fell victim of getting involved with evil s@#$ but I just evolved and it made me stronger.

    Again…I would understand if he was saying “I’m sitting right here with a bible in my back pocket sipping lean and blowing kush with God”. Everyone respects God and leaves him out of the equation when talking reckless.

    If you read the Bible it’s not about God going from Saint to Saint having a blast….LOL….most of it is about God taking Failed men, broken men and women and showing them the path of righteousness. I totally understand and respect your perspective on the topic. I’m just saying….I myself don’t agree with tossing stones or speaking ill will into existence when anyone is at least attempting to speak positive. I just don’t practice that. LOL

  21. Nathaniel says:

    @King JuggaNott and @Oj Da Cornball

    God is the creator of all things. therefore all his creations have Him in them. period. he is everywhere at all times. the supreme being.

    but @Oj Da Cornball in particular

    from what you say about wayne, i don’t even see how you could listen to hip hop. he ain’t said shit worse than 99% of the rappers who we discuss on the daily on blogs. and listen to daily. just a thought.

  22. yaboitone aka FIRST KID ON THE WAY!!!! says:

    Ok ok ok. i dont feel like reading EVERYTHING u wrote @OJ DA CORNBALL so if you corrected your statement that imma bout to correct than fine. Pretty much EVERYTHING u said was on point and i applaud u, EXCEPT for when you said, “but God is not always with us. (I guess that’s also depends on what belief of god you referring to). The god the bible is quiet the contrary. He ONLY FOR THOSE HE CHOSE and truly are for him.”

    God is with EVERYONE who chooses HIM and truly accepts HIM into their lives which will be reflected in their day to day actions. NOT just “those he chose” to be with obviously because that would suggest that getting into heaven is a coin toss that YOU AS AN INDIVIDUAL have no control over? if God didn’t “choose you” your screwed? lol. But like i said, just about everything else i read. spot on (fake british accent).

  23. yaboitone aka FIRST KID ON THE WAY!!!! says:

    @Nathaniel,

    ARE U KIDDING ME that wayne doesn’t say, do, and promote TERRIBLE things?!?! lol. Case in point, the young KID he was trying (and more than likely succeeded) during his first documentary. The part where he basically promoted RAPE and suggested that the LITTLE BOY become a slut. lol. Drugs, gangs, robbery, murder, rape, sodomy (didnt mean for that to rhyme lmao). thats pretty much as bad as it gets homey.

  24. I hope this nigga come out rappin like he was on Dedication 1 and 2 and carter one and two….Shit long over due.. No ceilings was cool,but he aint go as hard as he used too.. anyway Free weezy man been fukin witem since The hotboys Guarilla Warfare album..

  25. Nathaniel says:

    @yaboitone
    ARE U KIDDING ME that wayne doesn’t say, do, and promote TERRIBLE things?!?!

    ^^nigga. now did i say that? no, i didn’t.

    i said that wayne talks about unrighteous shit. and name a hip hop artist that doesn’t. now, after you do that, ask oj if those are the only artists he listens to. if not, then you sound like a hypocrite giving sermons about god’s displeasure and judgement of lil wayne.

    why do you sound like a hypocrite, oj? (if you listen to rappers with unrighteous lyrics) because with your logic, God is highly unpleased and judging them just as harshly as he is wayne. and furthermore, YOU TOO BECAUSE YOU LISTEN, ENJOY, AND SUPPORT THEIR BRANDS. THAT is what i am saying.

    now, i don’t have the OJ Da Cornball logic. and i’m no fool. nor am i dillusional. i’m telling niggas to THINK about who they throwing stones at when your hands are dirty too.

  26. King JuggaNott says:

    A whole lot of judges in these forums. He did this so he is _________? C’mon. Dudes need to turn off the T.V. and educate themselves. LOL, it’s only one judge and no degree of sin. No sin is greater than the other.

  27. OOPH says:

    @OJ DA CORNBALL– Keep that religious bullshit out of here.

  28. OOPH says:

    @King JugggaNott

    “it’s only one judge and no degree of sin. No sin is greater than the other.”

    So murder is equal to pre-marital sex? How do you not see the fallacy there?!

  29. Nathaniel says:

    @King JuggaNott

    THANK YOU. got damn…ol Ancient Roman Catholic Church ass niggas.

  30. Oj Da Cornball says:

    OOPH
    tell that to Wayne he brought it up.
    aside that i say no to your demand. free speech
    what lame you are. why you making comment about sin not bigger etc.. if you.. nevermind.
    fyi, it is equal to God, just not to you cause you your own God. you live by your standard, maybe.

    dudes is lame. lol

    This was a great letter! F what y’all think about how long he is in jail. One day behind bars is one too many. This should have never happened.. Hopefully, he will learn from his lessons. I hope he really wrote that letter. Grammatically flawless- i’m impressed, weezy 🙂

  36. King JuggaNott says:

    @ ooph…..

    I didn’t right the rules. If you would like to lean on your own understanding then do that. I’m just saying Unlike common folk……I use God as my steering wheel, not my spare tire.

    @ Nathaniel it’s just common for folk who like to lean on their own understanding to think the way they are. I hope that this discussion will spark the flame for them to search for the answers in a church, or just reading the bible and attending fellowship to get a better understanding.

    I just don’t like when people throw stones at someone trying to speak positive. Again, even if it’s for that one moment the person is acknowledging God….I’m going to clap it up. Regardless…this does not excuse him, and his sins don’t give anyone the right to judge him. All of those are the role of God period. That’s all I got on that.

  37. SilkCityP says:

    Although I’ve never been a fan of his music, and probably never will be… I can say that I respect the brother Wayne for writing a letter like this. One big thing that I think alot of people fail to realize is that before Wayne got incarcerated, he clearly had a long standing battle with drug addiction and substance abuse. Alot of us whom have had loved ones suffer with drug addictions, know that their addictions take over them… They become another character, another person, and stray away from anything logical, and they lose their moral. I think maybe this time could be a life saver for Wayne, b/c those drugs were killing him in more ways than 1! Think about all the bufoonery he has had in his life over the last few years(Kissing Men, Fake Blood, repeated drug busts, etc)… Hopefully for his sake, this time will allow him to get control of himself.

  38. lup says:
