DJ Enuff premiered this during the Rush Hour on Hot 97. The Heavy Hitter called the track “Hip-Hop Blues”, but apparently it’s originally from Gil’s latest album, I’m New Here.
The song is Gil Scott Heron’s song “New York Is Killing Me” from his latest album.
We called it back in Feb that someone would flip it, though we put $10 on Mos Def.
