Drake’s “Lust For Life” In Pennsylvania

Back at Slippery Rock, PA Drake performed the opening track from So Far Gone. Too bad “sportsgirl1210” only caught the first 1:10. In other Drizzy news, the rapper hired a vocal coach for his Away From Home tour and told Sway that “Over” was orignally a warm up record.

Yeah I bet “Over” was a warmup record. He’s learning fast. That’s what they all say when the record won’t connect. Jay had 3 warmup records before BP3, 50 had two before BISD… they all say that.

I love his music…But notice how he sucks singing LIVE. Subpar vocals on track, but LIVE? Fagiddaboudit!

Has anybody else noticed that every Drake song we’ve heard from Thank Me Later, with the exception of Over sounds like some shit off the new Alicia Keys album which was garbage by the way… If that is his direction and soundscape for the album… what a dud this will be

  9. Big G says:

Oh yeah I’m pretty sure Over was a “warmup” record…especially when the record doesn’t do what you thought it would. It had no buzz and was a dud..

Lol, the song was number 15 on the Billboard charts and number one on Itunes, #sitdown lol

Successful=Created his own buzz, had everybody with a label checking for him to basically write him a blank check, doing shows with just MIXTAPE material and singles…..all while lubing up the game for your debut cd. WOw…If it ain’t success what the hell do you call it? A good start?
