Although there’s no release date for Jay Electronica’s “Exhibit C” video’s directors Coodie and Chike of Creative Control tells MTV that the clip is in the wood works.
“We’re in discussion. We’ve been building on it, so hopefully soon,” Coodie said. “We’re moving on it, man. We’re in pre-production actually preparing to do it, so we’ll see.”

Man it’s crazy how rushed and impatient fans of this game are now. Cats are on here complaining about Jay E shooting a video for an amazing song like that’s a bad thing. We all love Jay E for his content and flow but the business behind an artist like him takes time, you can’t rush it like the rest of these “internet hot” artist. He’s something that hasn’t been seen or heard in a while and just because the die hard Hip Hop heads (like yourself) know about him doesn’t mean the average joe does. The purpose of him shooting a video for a song that has torn apart the underground since late last year is because it still has life and hasn’t been heard regardless of us knowing about it. The world is big people, the internet lets us know this so trust that a video for Exhibit C will help spread his beginning unlike the MP3 we all have or heard. It’s a business yall damn!

Jay Electronica is a middle age 34 year old new comer in the game…this dude is not trying to compete with the mainstream I get that , but Act II was promised since 2007 and then Christmas 2009 and he has used every excuse in the world as reasons for its delay!! Besides he is good lyrically but Killah Priest has said everything he is talking about already…so has Rakim for that matter! The industry is hyped for Exhibit C (great) but that song is damn near 7 months old and just a throw back of the 90’s hip hop! I think most have already moved on to the next one! Jay E will get internet buzz and spot appearances but his work ethic is seriously lacking!
That’s cool but I’d rather have Act 2. And shoot how about just droppin the full videos for Exhibit A & Mr. Moleskine instead of BS 1:30 second clips? Jus sayin….Jay Elect is dope & dude stays doing shows but in his case puttin out more than a single & some snippets might actually work.
I think Just Blaze said awhile back that Jay E doesn’t go in the studio that much.. So I guess that’s the reason for the delay of the mixtape. But on the real, I’ll take quality over quantity any day.
As for Exhibit C, the video should have hit the net in December, not in the Spring.

yo…all u dudes got points first off. Its a business, it’s a quality issue, etc. BUT! when you have the light on you, you better make the people enjoy it – it may be your last shot. The only person who can do some year long wait shit was Drake. Hell even back in the days of “quality” music, Jay didn’t give a hot record, and wait a whole year to throw out the product. You capitalize when the opportunity is alive. Otherwise, people WILL move on. Music is not Music by any means anymore, so for a artist to take more than 6 months to produce some type of music, he’s burying his own head in the sand. Exhibit C was cool, but I NEVER got to see the ENTIRE vid for Exhibit A….so YES!, Jay Elect needs to hurry off his fat ass, put that stanking ass breath to the mic and drop some fuckin music for the listeners.
