This is tight. Great flow and lyrics. I can’t wait for this album!!

  8. this is dope… not head banging system bumping dope… but this can get played in the truck.

  9. Black London says:

    Co-Sign ….. majest, Loveman15, d & Ricky Retardo.

Okay the hook might not be all that, but its far from garbage…. shout out to Rakim’s Seventh Seal album.

I wasnt even expecting Kane’s flow to be that tight either… He needs to get Slick Rick (the UK’s finest) on this album real talk.

Salute to Kane. B.Dot is just hating…a little. Ha!

  10. my_poop_was_green_just_now says:

    @ B.dot
you need to show some respect when its due or keep your mouth shut. kane sounds like he might have some hotlines on that disc, this should be pretty good

  11. B.Dot says:

are y’all listening gto the same record?

  12. Elton John says:

shit is not even that bad

  13. Black London says:

    @ B.Dot…

Dont get me wrong… Im not saying what my_poop_was_green_just_now is saying [No Shots], but its not as bad as you made it out to be.

I even said “Okay the hook might not be all that, but its far from garbage….I wasnt even expecting Kane’s flow to be that tight either…”.

I doubt his LP will be as bad as Rakim’s Seventh Seal.

  14. DrewYork says:

I’m with B. Dot on this one. Not good, at all. Not to mention he bit Joe Budden’s line on this:

“For Oprah bills I’ll turn this bitch into Cloverfield” – Joe Budden, Overkill
“You know the deal, I’ll turn New York into Cloverfield”- BDK

  15. Chris says:

This is not bad at all, I dont get the hate. The hook could be better I guess, but other than that, his flow and lyrics are fine and the beat is okay.

  16. Toss says:

damn, i’ve used that same sample years ago

  17. hotbox says:

The hook was a little weak but Kane was killin it. The polar bear line was ill.

  18. yaboitone aka FIRST KID ON THE WAY!!!! says:

yeah? im missing this one? Kane’s flow was on point. yeah, the song sounded a little dated, but Kane was FAAAAAAAAAAR from whack? smh.

  19. King JuggaNott says:

Not bad, just not my type of hype.

  20. teejay says:

Well, I’ve heard worse. His flow is good and rhymes are on point, but in it’s entirety as a song, it’s meh.

  21. my_poop_was_green_just_now says:

okay b.dot maybe you DONT have to give props or keep your mouth closed, its your opinion, but i dont see why you put your opinions in the post, let people decide for themselves, i mean if you have an opinion couldnt you just post it as a comment like the rest of us?

  22. seankizzzz says:

that shits sounds hot. ima be waiting for the album

it sound to me like BDK still got it

  23. MARQUEE says:

just like with Rakim, RR hating one legends once again SMH

  24. Pikahsso says:

  25. ayooooooo says:

big daddy kane hasn’t lost a step lyrically. innovator, legend.

  26. Bjack says:

    B.Dot,

You’re wrong. This shit isn’t bad at all. You still don’t answer emails nigga.

  27. jamdawham says:

Shit is tuff. @ my poop is green, word he should post as comment. Dum ass nigga

  28. ctg says:

What’s crazy is that Big Daddy Kane and Rakim are only one year older than Jay-Z yet they’re considered old school while Jay is still seen as a current artist.

  29. Majest says:

@ bdot & drewyork you could have out did your father but you would never exist with out him.its all about progression bitches…the atom cnt get to point be without point A. Silly hoes

  30. my_poop_was_green_just_now says:

    @ctg
you cantbe serious homie. jay BEEN current since about 1998, a whole 12 years AFTER rakim became relevant, and a whole 9 years AFTER kane became relevant, both acts quickly died off for whatever reason, it has NOTHING to do with age but jay didnt start rappin as young cause he couldnt, it took him all those extra years to get his style right by coping others, and he has stayed relevant by enlisting the best producers and making commercial rap, rakim didnt do well cause what ppl expect to hear has changed from paid in full to poppy wattered down shit like empire state of mind, jay is a sellout and the only reason he came out of retirement is cause niggas like camron and nas have been around longer and he realized they could change the game and be the new king of ny without him, but he has only gotten worse since blueprint IMO with the exception of american gangsta, i wish big was still alive, then jays head wouldnt be the size of the moon

  31. Oj Da Cornball says:

Why B Dot acting like this is some Wacka Flacka type joint?

It’s cool so far. not off the meter but enjoyable so far.

  32. ctg says:

    @my_poop_was_green_just_now:

You’re right, age has nothing to do with it. That was my point. Even though they’re around the same age Jay still makes contemporary music while Ra and Kane make throwback sounding stuff.

  33. […] Busta Rhymes even joins him on the cut for a quick cameo. Check out the preview above. Spotted at RR. Share & […]

  34. '97 Cheech & Chong says:

@ B.Dot “I’ll act as if this is good”

what the fuck is wrong with u? because this aint no young money bullshit you hatin on it?
big daddy was one of the greatest to ever do it and the flow is sexy on this. listen to the song again . interpret the lyrics and tell me if this is a good come back

  35. Blakout615 says:

LMAO @ Sum1 saying BDK bit Joe Budden

  36. DrewYork says:

I’m just not sure how BDK being one of the best rappers during his era correlates to a song he made in 2010 being any good? There’s no connection, at all, so bringing it up just sounds stupid.

  37. J-Oh says:

This is dope, the beat has a nice sampled sound instead of all this wack keyboard shit we’ve been getting for last 15 years… and Kane is still one of the best MCs ever

  38. chitlin coon says:

hahhahahahahahahaha!!!! this shit is awful!! just awful!! this is real hip hop son!!! lol man this reall sucks new york!!

  39. fuckrapradar says:

“ill act as if this is good???? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA these mainstream faggots posting these articls have no clue what hip hop is about, postin b.o.b videos left and right then saying that shit about a song BDK is on?? b.dot youre pathetic and know nothing about hip hop.

  40. saquan_bk says:

1st thing 1st kane put jay-z on an this song is fire! 2 bet kane will eat these rappers ass up yall young money fans better say no to drugs but keep the kane in ur system an that 1 of his line do ur history!!!!!!

  41. Vitaman T says:

Big Daddy Kane is my man, I seen Kane in concert, and I will always buy Big Daddy Kanes music, Yo Kane I’m working on my next album, you inspire me, http://www.undadirt.com and youtube/undadirt

  42. nme says:

Well, I just saw the Unsung with Big Daddy Kane. My question is why is not J-Z giving him respect, like he did J-Z when he was a striving artist? Kane should not want for anything. He should have an office at J-Z company!
