Without the assistance of Hayley Williams, B.o.B. performed “Airplanes” for the first time at The Rave in Milwaukee last night. Prepare for take off April 27th.

just saw him and mike posner in ann arbor thursday night… jamielondon is right, hip hop needs these talented people. these guys play the guitar piano on their own set.. just amazing!

I was at that show last nite. Shit was crazy him and Lupe.
I was there last night. He def did his thing. Had the crowd going crazy when he Red “bet I bust”. His set had a lot of range. From rap to rock ti acoustic soul, etc.
But the man of the night, Lupe shut it DOWN. “I’m Beaming” had the crowd going ape shit.
Where’s part 2 ? 🙁

this site has been pushing b.o.b. hard as hell.
even though threads abt him get less comments than lupe fiasco threads. there’s like no demand for him but rapradar pushes him constantly since long before “nothing on you” dropped. it feels fake.
but yes, i see from hearing like a handful of songs in his catalog that he is making pop rap. like very generic lyrics and sampling obvious pop songs. so SOMEBODY on his team, maybe him, is very smart and deliberate. because they are making songs that will play all day long on radio.
but to me i tried to look into it and i just think he’s not a sick rapper. bottom line. just not interesting or impressive AT ALL. no hate but something feels like the machine is pushing him on me. he’s like a poor man’s Field Mob. like honestly tell me either dude from Field Mob isn’t better than this guy.

Dude is dope…sure some of his shit is pop-orientated, but that kind of shows his range of talent. He can make a record like Bet I Bust, etc… then go around and make shit like I’ll Be In The Sky, Airplanes, Satellite, Nothin On You, etc.
He makes music that he enjoys making, not for the mass appeal. BoB seems like a real dude, and i think he’s a dope rapper… his double-time raps are fuckin ON POINT..go check out his verse on Paperboy with CH
