Uurgh, I just dont want to hear it. I dont even want to know what he sounds like…God forbid I have bad dreams because of it. He just oozes bad vibes. Its terrible. What “loyal friend” would let those be a man’s last words to his family and friends…even if there were problems. If the letter is authentic and if they were that close, he deliberately failed to facilitate that Guru passed in a positive head-space. You know i don’t like doing this but if you go on allhiphop.com they have an interview with Guru from last year and he was very confrontational towards premo. he say’s ex-dj in the interview and was very dismissive of gangstarr. I would hate to add more questions after his death but there relationship seems very suspect. Give it a read it sheds alot of light on what’s going on now. Sorry Rapradar my bad plugging the competition but it was an interesting read.

If you read his body language (including the nervous licking his finger and touching his ear act) you can tell that he’s falsifying his statements. Sway went into it and exposed the truth pretty much when he mentioned to Solar that the letter talks alot about him. Solar can dodge whatever question he wants, but Guru had more history with DJ Premier than him. Guru, to me, owes a lot to Premo, so why in the hell would he bash someone who he REALLY came up with on his deathbed? On top of that, refer to him as his ex-DJ???? F*** that!! When death knocks at your door, there shouldn’t be no “EX” nothing! Everybody mentioned it and knows what bullsh** smells like.
I’m upset by the fact that really Guru is gone, and he’s a pioneer of hip hop, so why tarnish his legacy that him AND DJ Premier built? A legacy you weren’t apart of? Only die-hards knew you from producing sh** on those Jazzmatazz albums and being his “business” partner, but the rest of us Hip Hop Heads will remember Guru as DJ Premier’s REAL right hand man, and they’re names are synonymous to Gang Starr.
