I don’t think I have ever preordered a “mixtape”…..I wonder why he’s using that term when talking about this ALBUM?

Face’s flow is still right on point but….. and I know I might take some heat for this…… as far as subject matter this seems like a regression for him. He’s been here and done this stuff on records before and seemed to have moved to other subjects.

I don’t know what I expected with it being called Dopeman Music but I was hoping there was a twist to it.

No hate, still gonna cop it , but …. you know, you expect legendary stuff from living legends. Blowin’ a niggas head off over a package and detailing how to get it in in the kitchen is kinda run of the mill now. Don’t forget to bring that heartfelt “everyman” perspective Facemob, we need that , there’s enough of this out.

  7. @ Ty

shied man…if you want the “everyman perspective” take another listen at the first verse by B. James…he is talking about pushing dope to make ends meet while holding down a 9 to 5 and being on probation…not looking for trouble or shooting dudes…just minding his own business trying to feed the fam

  8. Den says:

Damn Mr. Scarface is cold! This is dope

  9. Ty says:

    @ Maurice Garland

Although his verse wasn’t bad and was a little more relatable, B James is no Scarface. When I cop the new album I will be gettin’ it to hear what Face is talkin’ bout.

When Face decides to get introspective, he goes deeper and more insightful than almost anybody else to touch a mic. From tryna get a handle on finances, to BM drama, to tryna to come to terms with his spirituality in such a grimy world, when he speaks from his soul about life issues he’s second to none. When he details the dope game he’s one of many now, who talk that. I doubt everybody is speaking from experience like I’m sure he is but…they’re still droppin’ record after record of what he spit in his verse. That’s all I’m sayin’.
