Why is Yelawolf getting such publicity. He is not that good of an emcee. I understand thig blog is run like a business to a certain degree and you must provide content that benefits RapRadar, but Yelawolf? Nobody cares about Yelawolf. Especially a Yeawolf freestyle. I know I am not the only one that feels this way. If there is nothing to post then follow this advice. Your as good as your last post.

  3. buzzlightbrown says:

It’s news cause it’s dope song to rhyme over and I guess he’s the first. That said I lost interest real quick…

  4. The Truth says:

Who cares if he is the first to rhyme over it. Yelawolf is nothing special.

    RapRadar & Readers,

RapRadar and many hip-hop blogs need to understand that they are the reason hip-hop is suffering how it is. You promote alot of bad hip-hop music. They might contest it with a “So what? Dont come to the site or dont listen to the music”. Unfortunately, that is the problem. Commercial success is determined by radio airplay. However, blogs have become an instant source for DJ’s and hip-hop fans to hear and download new music. Will a Yelawolf freestyle change the game? Of course not. But people will wonder, “hmmm theres alot of Yelawolf songs being posted, he must be something good”. Unfortunately most people are dumbasses and cant think for themselves and go with whats “hot”. You think everyone at clubs, love these songs? Think again. They like it cause its hot at the moment, makes them dance and have fun. Not to go off on a tangent, but respect the art. Give fans what they really want. Real hip-hop music. You guys can help change the game, you just dont know it. Remember its about quality and not quantity.

  5. CantGetRight says:

^ Fuck what this “hip hop is dead” ass nigga is talking bout. I fuck with Catfish Billy! Go download ‘Trunk Muzik’ then comment.

  6. TopBananas says:

Trunk Muzik go hard. THis was ok but Trunk Muzik validates him being on the blogs.

  7. J says:

Yelawolf is DOPE DOPE DOPE!!!!!!!!!!! and niggaz are mad as FUCK FUCK FUCK!!!!!!!!!

  8. ryan says:

Game-changing songs don’t just show up in bloggers’ inboxes every day. This one is a new remix, something we haven’t heard rapped over yet, and Yelawolf is an artist who deserves some support because he has a lot of potential. We’re getting a high quantity of at least decent quality songs, and yeah this one does get a bit tiring without the loop changing, but it’s much better than another fuckin Exhibit C remix without anyone doing anything different to the beat. If someone hears this song and thinks it’s good (whether their reasoning is that it’s “hot” or not), they’re not a dumbass, they’ve just got different taste than you.

  9. mark says:

I think Yelawolf is fucking great. Obviously Raekwon thought he was good enough to record with. Plenty of others feel the same. And listen, even if you don’t dig his music, at least respect the fact that he’s genuine about it. And if you think Rap Radar isn’t exposing the “right” kind of music maybe you should start your own blog? It’s not that hard to do.

  10. 187 on a DRE says:

i wouldnt be surprised if i never heard from this guy again

  11. E says:

@mark – cosizzle. but rapradar should do a better job of introducing new artists.most of these cats dont know who yelawolf is. post some strong tracks so people can see whats up before posting freestyles and news about an unknown artist. of course people are gonna be like who da fuck is this guy. not hating on rapradar, i think they are great, just some constructive criticism. this is one of yela’s weakest tracks i have heard, not feelin the beat at all, lyrics are good though. check out the TRUNK MUZIK MIXTAPE before you start hating on this dude.

  12. THIS SONG IS GAY says:

Looks like another whiteboy rapper eating off the image that Eminem created, please put your middle fingers down.

  13. Stay Fly says:

    @THIS SONG IS GAY

You dumb fuckin ass, why dont you do some research before talking all restless. This nigga is Native American not white you dumb fuck

  14. SOUTH IS DEAD WHITEY CAN DO IT says:

FINALLY A WHITE RAPPER TO DESTROY SOUTHERN RAP. JUST LIKE EMINEM DID FOR THE EAST COAST. I CAN HEAR THOSE 808S AND 909s CRASHING DOWN NOW. TIMM BEERRRRRRR! ITS FINISHED. LOL

  15. CantGetRight says:

^ You dumbazz,he is from the South!! Alabama to be exact

Yelawolf is dope and this freestyle is cool. If you don’t like it then don’t listen or click on the link. I ignore 90% of the stuff on here and any other blog for that matter but I don’t take the time to bitch about it. I realize that I’m sure it has its own following and its own audience and that I’m not the end all be all of what is dope and worthy of attention.
