jim is a guest lecturer period. he has expertise in what he is presenting on account of him being co-CEO of Dipset as well as founder of Byrdgang records and having a solo contract as a recording artist with Columbia.There are many facets of the industry and business that Jones can elaborate on.
I’m a teacher and im tired of hearing that Jones is teaching because he’s not. As my dude above said there’s some professionalism to be expected of an actual teacher. But just because hes sagging doesnt mean he doesnt have valuable insight to shed and share. I hope the kids pick some thing up.

Who authorize this move? Just because he was a CEO of a Record label does not qualify him to teach in this kind of learning environment. His presentation sets a bad example to these kids. Pants hanging low and fitted baseball cap is totally not acceptable. Professional attire is the appropriate wear for this particular occasion.
Now, I dont’ think you necessarily have to go to school to serve in the capacity as a CEO of a record company. I guarantee some CEO’s have someone to assist them, who has the professional skills, meets the criteria’s, to help the unqualified, to do what it takes to run the record label. The unqualified person really serves, I think, as brand/face/forerunner to keep the record company relevant.
Note, I’m not putting down the intelligence of moguls like Diddy, Shawn Carter, Baby, etc, I believe they all learn from past failures/experience. However, the argument that I am making is: if school’s, private or public, are going to allow a special guest to come in a hold a workshop on business, branding, entrepreneurship, etc, a dress code needs to be enforced. Moreover, a school should at least get someone who is intelligible and a person who carry themselves in a professional manner.
