Oprah Parties With N.E.R.D & Diddy

Whoever said Oprah didn’t like hip-hop? These were taken on Monday at the Met Costume Institute Gala after party in NYC. N.E.R.D were invited to perform by Vogue Editor In Chief, Anna Wintour. Guests included Diddy, Katy Perry, Usher and, of course, Ms. Winfrey. More pictures after the jump.

u know diddy wrecked that fat bitch

  2. Tiny Tim says:

Due to her demopgrahic she has to say she deplores hip-hop, but I remember in the 90s she’d talk about Pac etc on her show (in a positive light). She just wised up and knew she didnt wanna damage her brand. She’s prolly one of those dirty pleasure listeners who plays Plies catalogue

Lol @ “Nigga, no one listens to Plies.”

  5. B.Dot says:

  6. mac DIESEL says:

    @ B. Dot

“what would I do with out you guys”

DON’T KNOW B.DOT, BUT “WITHOUT” IS ONE WORD. YA WELCOME!!!! HA!!!!

    DON’T HATE ON MY OPINION!!!!

  7. Oj Da Cornball says:

Oh boy, i could see Jay-z’s next lines already:

“I bought Orpah to the rap game, I bought Oprah to the hood”
“Oprah hated rappers, made her fall in love with hip hop”
“Oprah at my doorbell, Alister Crowley on the text”
“Rockafella Record is dead, live in a meeting with David Rokafeller.

    Yup, i see them coming.

  8. notahaterbutstillahater says:

Its just something about Oprah, I really cant put my finger on it< but I think she is a fake and why is jumping on hiphops bandwagon anyway?

  9. Jordan Cohen says:

    @notahater
Have you been asleep the past couple years? Hip-hop is totally acceptable now.
Whether its miley cyrus talking about listening to jay-z (which she said she doesn’t listen to) to Ke$ha waking up feeling like P Diddy (whatever THAT means, hungover with mad dudes in the bed?) Hip-Hop is here to stay.
Its lasted longer than disco, 2-step and whatever f^&ked genres have been created.

And since corporate america is aware of the buying power associated with hip-hop, more so rappers, they know that product placement / support is key.

Oprah HAS to like to party. Can you see her doing the 2-step at some uptight ball? No, she wants to hear blame it on the alcohol, REALLY LOUD.

  10. B. Digital says:

I don’t think Oprah is on the “hip-hop bandwagon”.. I consider N-E-R-D as alternative and Diddy is on some adlib /autotune /hip-pop shit.

  11. Stop says:

My response to this post will be Like nipsey said in one of his songs “and I don’t give a fuck about the type of music oprah like”

  12. IrelandRepresents says:

I think it’s more that Oprah seen the influence the hip-hop community had on Obama’s election that her “love” for hip-hop!

  13. MaG says:

@bdot ur one of the few writers ive seen not hit a dude wit mad reckless comments after a typo corection…good looks on tht

i mean really yall? lets just celebrate the fact that Pharell, diddy and oprah are in the same room together and Anna wintour asked them to be there. Thats Vogue magazine. Thats a whole different world and culture man…props to the pharrell and diddy for even being involved with something that big…do ya homework

  14. slick says:

pharrell look like he tryna grab a big ole billion dollar titty in the 1st pic

  15. ...y says:

damn look at those big ass tities MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

  16. FatAbbOt23 says:

    Is that a fade or a Bro-Hawk….?

Id reach for that Billion Dollar TItty too and throw up the Roc sign….

Oprah needs to commit to the “Positive Whites” that spend unlimited money rather than the slick talking blacks who cash checks and not sign them. I mean really…What does it say about Oprah is she co-signs YOUR favorite rapper? I would dread the day I would get a call from my mom and she says, “Can you get me that new Jay Electronica album on your way home, Oprah says she loves it”

  17. yaboitone says:

(in a Tommy when he’s talking to Cole in an episode of Martin Voice):

    @FatAbbot23……you stupid.

@notahater, i agree with you. Not neccessarily when it comes to Oprah and hiphop, but to Oprah in general. I’ve NEVER liked her because she just seems so incredibly FAKE to me? OF COURSE i understand that she has to behave a certain way to reach the pockets that she reaches and im not hating on that. I just have this belief that even our most successful black people are on some “real nigga shit” behind closed doors, but i have a hard time believing oprah is like that. She seems like the type that would be disgusted by “average” black people and act snobby as f**k. Hopefully im wrong.

  18. Jay Fingers says:

Yeah, someone else mentioned it, but it’s pretty big that Anna-fucking-Wintour asked NERD to perform at the Met Ball.

  19. Jay Fingers says:

And no shot with Zoë Saldaña? I’m disappointed.

  20. pissed says:

    lmao @ “billion dollar titties”

    *dead*

  21. B.Dot says:
