Yesterday, Big Boi stopped by Renada Romain’s Hip Hop Nation Morning Show and revealed that his partner Andre 3000 recently completed a song with Young Jeezy. Lose your mind over that.
Bonus: Big Boi says he isn’t fazed when 3000 stacks is mentioned on Top 5 list and he isn’t.

He shouldn’t be fazed. He’s great too. Just different. 3 Stacks is Jordan and Big is Pippen. They both need each other even if one gets more hype. They ain’t club nouveau!
To be fair, Andre is far more talented than Big Boi. Dont get me wrong, I love Big Boi and he’s a great rapper, but 3K is in a different league, in terms of pure skill.

Of course Andre’s more talented, but whenever I take out Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, I end up puttin in that first cd. in any case, i love both them niggas. sure andre’s mic skills can go tit for tat with ANYBODY in rap history, but big boi is one of the top emcees out. and has been for years, it’s just….well, you know… andre is THAT dope. i don’t think that nigga has ever spit even a sub par verse his entire career.

actually … in the US Speakerboxxx/LoveBelow sold a lil bit over 5 million copies… but considering it was a double album it was certified Diamond.

I mean, your favorite rapper (I’m gonna go out on a limb and say it’s Jay-Z) considers Andre 3000 his favorite rapper. Don’t let the singing on The Love Below/Idlewild fool you. The man is unfuckwitable in this rap shit. (see his verses post-Idlewild for further proof).
In my opinion, he’s top 5 and it’s not even close…
idk know about 5 straight classic albums, their 1st 3 albums , yeah stankonia was dope but no classic as well as speakerboxx/love below . idlewild was uneven to me. still one of the best groups ever

I’mma cop Big Boi’s album he’s one of the dopest but it’s just that Andre is a lyrical machine, in my opinion Andre is the best alive by quite a margain. I have never heard anybody as good as 3000, his lyric structure is on a higher level than a skyscraper.
