50′s music career is over and he got panned widely as an actor back when he was really just an image created for music sales. The hip hop bad guy. Freddy Kreuger with a mic.
Now by dramatically changing his appearence people will give him another shot at hollywood which his best shot at extending his fame and the consistent dough that will bring.
It doesnt make him a good actor although altering your physical appearence drastically as he has could help him in actually becoming a role.
He’ll take criticism and jokes, but he’s on strong footing. Will smith got on his knees in six degrees of seperation to be taken seriously as an actor. It hasnt turned out too bad for him.
