Told you Viacom wasn’t having it. At the 4:12 mark of Ciara’s interview with DJ Envy on Power 105, the singer comments on her video, “Ride” being banned from Black Entertainment Television for being too sexual. Kids got the Discovery channel, don’t they?

listen, all if not most content IS on the internet…why the fuck even pay for cable/satellite anymore?? besides, TV is coming to internet…the same subscription based services, etc. The internet we know TODAY, will not be the internet we get on in a couple years. Believe it, and people on the internet (since they are so gangsta and macho) should stand up to Viacom and the other big corps. in keeping the internet a free roaming avenue for content, the reason it has become the way it is today. Fuck this debaccle about if ciara video made it on TV, that only means, it goes to the next content avenue – the internet – and that’s where it becomes an issue. They know folks will go to the internet if their favorite artist video is not airing, creating the television/internet market, looking for that video. They then legally charge viewers to watch/browse/download this content, and people will begin to pay. Hopefully this doesn’t take place and government (if I can call them that) is fighting the RIAA and other media/entertainment giants to prevent this…I think we all should be helping the fight..I’am. You don’t have to, just don’t look forward to a rapradar or anything else of the same, because it will begin to cost a fee to view it…check out what Comcast has been trying to do, just google it.
And I saw this video on MTV earlier today..no shit…and that’s Viacom owned as well, so b.Dot, what’s that about???!
