It was pretty even IMO. Wayne always says some deep ass shit, and when his flow picked up thats when his verse got better. Em said some deep shit too at points, but his flow was hot throughout the whole song. Either way, they make some good ass music together…and Em seems to respect Wayne ALOT. I can see another Wayne and Em collab on C4.

I was wondering why when I just pre-ordered it on iTunes it said it will be available on the 21st and not the 22nd. Now I know!
But peep this, as of this posting I sending the Deluxe version of Recovery is at #2 on the entire albums list (#1 on Rap/Hip Hop top 10) and the regular version of Recovery is #8 on the entire music list.
Like someone else said, I can only see them doing this because the demand has to be high as fuck for them to only have 1 day sales.
I will personally account for 4 copies sold. I got the Deluxe pre-ordered on iTunes, I am copping both covers on the actual CD at bestbuy on Monday and the LP Record.
Just have to make sure I go to the right Bestbuy store because only a select few sell the Records. I did this same shit for Relapse because I am loyal to this muvafucka. And I am on Unemployment Benefits now. So how bout that for support.

People only release albums on Mondays these days because iTunes add new music on Tuesdays so it helps first week sales if the album is on iTunes all 7 days now it’s there for 6 for the first week sales, don’t think it makes much a difference to Em how much he sells first and Interscope will get the same money just 1 day later from iTunes buyers so doesn’t really matter.

More buzz dont mean more sales. To be honest its about who the artist is, and Drakes got pretty mixed reviews while Em has mostly positive from what i’ve seen.
And besides, Jay couldnt outsell Em with BP3 (Classic in most peoples minds) against Relapse (Garbage in most peoples minds). So I doubt TML with its mixed reviews and freshman artist, will beat a 10 year vet who just personifies album sales. No Stanning, but lets just be realistic

And let’s not forget that the leak also spreads the material even better which in the end eventually creates future sales.

The substance alone in his music this time around is unlike anything he’s put out before. He’s always shown vulnerability but not like this. Recovery is the end result of a clear headed genius at the top of his craft. Metaphors, hooks, delivery, subject matter, beats…everythings on point. “Cold wind”, “Fire”, “No Love’ just by themselves are worth the purchase. Trust me.
