  5. Dre says:

    The only reason why his last album did 8K in the first week was because the lack of promotion.

    Fat Joe got a nice resume’ in the rap game, but even with that he got mad haters that want him out this game. Probably other puerto ricans cuz dudes hate to see a latino make it, Joel Ortiz better watch out. YaoWW!

  15. money mitch says:

    @notorious rambo

    damn thats the shit bro

  16. Gusto says:

    I ain’t been a huge fan of Joe since he went with the whole “i’ma do whatever’s hot right now” thing but this tracklist definitely looks pretty dope. Not really gassed by the features but the production should be hard. That joint with Jeezy is my shit and I’m interested to hear Joe over some Premo production again, it’s been a while since we heard from Flow Joe on some true boom-bap NY shit.

    Peace.

  17. TEFLON DON ! says:

    u don’t really c that no more on hip hop albums

  22. JohnBlack says:

    Damn that’s a lot of features. He’s basically saying I can’t handle this shit by myself. Nigga getting old

  23. RapMusic23 says:

  27. Drucifer says:

    Seeing all these cats who were once a big deal, coming out with shit no one cares about, really lets me know hat my Era is over and that the kids are in control of this now

    Snoop Dogg, Raekwon, Cypress Hill and the Method Man/Redman album, all combined barely equal a gold record………And this dudes last CD sold like 8,000 copies

    SMH

    When Jay Z, Eminem and Nas die off, they might as well just make a hip hop oldies station for me to listen to, cause That’ll be the official end of my era

  28. JohnBlack says:

    @Drucifer
    Co-sign

  29. Jimmy Dee says:

    This looks like the last three albums he’s released. Wayne Feature, Check. EXTREMELY limited tracklist, Check. Hood Love Songs, Check. And he’s always leavin it up to Preemo to finish off his albums, huh? *SMH* Anyway, lets see what he brings out come July.

  30. Fat Boy says:

    @Drucifer. Cosign

  31. dashing says:

    @Drucifier, with the exception of the Raekwon album none of those albums were that good though.

    And OB4CL2 was in Rolling Stone’s albums of the year and was a criticial success and revitalized his career. And Rae’s never really chased sales or radio-friendly records, even back in the day.

    There are a lot of dudes from the 90s that are still making hits though Jadakiss, Fabolous, Jay-z, Nas, Outkast, Busta, Eminem. (Shit, even Lil’ Wayne’s been making records for 13 years) They might not all go platinum, but they are still relevant. (Snoop has the #1 record in the country right now with Katy Perry)

    And the nature of music is that new blood needs to come in to keep shit fresh. So cats like J. Cole, Lupe, B.o.B, Jay Electronica, Slaughterhouse were influenced by Nas, Tribe, Biggie, Wu etc.

    Getting back to Fat Joe though. He needs to stop chasing the hot sound of the moment and stick to his street shit. This tracklist looks like he’s going in that direction but we’ll see.

  32. DGtheEnigma says:

    Joey bout to pull a Rick Ross and say “haters can say what they want, but no one can deny hot music…”

    I’ll be checking for this. Based on the slim tracklist and production team, there’s really no way this could suck.

  33. 50 Cent says:

    I listened to Fat Joe’s record, and it hurt me. 🙁

  34. GoodMusic says:

    Who gives a F about how many records are sold? Are you getting money from album sales? Are you?? So why do give two shits what another mofo sells??? Listen to the music and if you feel it great, if not then you dont. Thats what you all should be worried about.. Lets get back to hiphop — Not worry about someone else’s album sales!!!

  35. Justin says:

    only 12 songs??? wow….

  36. Joe Smith says:

    Do you like Fat Joe? He stopped by at Power 99 studios in Philly to record a few tracks and interview with the Hot Boys. Check it all out below through the link!!

  38. michael says:

  41. ernone says:

    fat joe is a G his music is aight but he a reall dude

  42. Keyturn says:

    I remember Fat Joe’s first video “Flow Joe”. He was on the Rap City top 10 back then, and at the time I thought he was a second tier MC. I heard the hype of Fat Joe on the Wake Up Show, and Baka Boys Friday Night Flavas back in the day (socal). So I thought I’d give the dude a chance, I jacked his tape outta Blockbuster music, and I was highly disappointed.

    This dude has always been hype. There’s always a buzz around him but his albums are all light yrs from being classic material. Joe’s at best an average MC. He should never be mentioned with any of the greats.

  43. raw-dog says:

    Respect to fat joe…but his timed has past..just like many other 90 rappers..Nas is my boy and he’s digging a hole himself.
